Sue Wilkinson, 53, a university professor, was married for 17 years before the relationship ended in divorce.
She has now been with her female partner, Celia Kitzinger for the same length of time.
The couple married in 2003 in Canada, where same-sex unions are legal. Last year they lost a High Court battle to have their marriage recognised in Britain.
Ms Wilkinson, Professor of Feminist and Health Studies at Loughborough University, said: I was never unsure about my sexuality throughout my teens or 20s. I was a happy heterosexual and had no doubts. Then I changed, through political activity and feminism, spending time with womens organisations. It opened my mind to the possibility of a lesbian identity.

To be fair, I know quite a few conservative beta-male types. They talk a mean game about rugged individualism and know all the lines, but in truth they whine about how affirmative action derailed their lives, how women suck Ya might want to rephrase that....

Best line in the story:
Ms Wilkinson met Ms Kitzinger, also a university professor, through their work at the British Psychological Society. She added: Id had a very happy marriage and a very good relationship with men. My husband took it very badly.
Ya think?
Perhaps he's now a misogynist....

She is confused due to being misguided by her fellow feminists. Feminism destroys more than just individual lives, it destroys countries!

“Homosexuality used to be considered as a character and behavior disorder, subject to change by desire and therapy.”
It still is whenever rationality, reality, and reason are used to think! Lesbians give solid evidence that homosexuality is not inbred. If it were for men, it would also be for women, and it just isn’t so.

This news is not a big surprise. You can find a lot of lesbians who are lesbians because they make a conscious decision to do so.
If anything, the big surprise is that the MSM actually wrote a story about it. Probably didn’t realize what they were actually printing.

I dont think conservative women have it all that much easier, sorry.Au conrtraire. I think conservative women have it MUCH easier than Lib chicks. They're much more happy and content with their lives, they're comfortable with their femininity, and the majority of them haven't been used as a semen-dumpster by some pseudo-intellectual dude "in touch with his feelings"
If, as a lib chick, all you had to choose from is Teddy Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Robert Reich, Joe Conason, etc., and/or their male descendants, it's only natural they become carpet-munchers.

It Homosexuality natures way of purging someone genes from the greater reproductive gene pool?
(It’s the only logical Darwinian/biological reason I can think of for it)

I wasn’t clear - they don’t have that much better a pool of men to choose from than liberal women.

The reason that "conservative chicks" have it "much easier" in their lives lies in the fact that they are living their lives closer to God's plan.
Joshua 1:8
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
