Paris is Free, But are We?

Well I guess it’s true. Paris Hilton has once again left the clutches of the legal system and has reentered society. What is next for Paris or her cast of characters? Will she and her panty-less friend Britney be paraded across the latest tabloid or we will be blessed with an interlude of silence?

As I and the rest or our nation becomes privy to the alcohol abuse of Paris, the designer drug use of Lindsay and the poor parenting of Britney, I cannot help but ponder, “What has our culture come to?” Aren’t women empowered, glass ceiling-less, free to “choose” and the like? Didn’t Gloria and Hillary set us free in the seventies? What has feminism brought us when the culture’s feminine role models are out of control, seemingly mindless, pop idols with low self-esteem and addiction problems?

The age old wisdom of John Quincy Adams says it well: “From all that I had read of history and government, of human life and manners, I had drawn this conclusion, that the manners of women were the most infallible barometer to ascertain the degree of morality and virtue of a nation.” What a futurist, that 19th Century President! Are the women of today behaving themselves or have their behaviors affected the degree of morality and virtue in our nation?

Women of manners unite! It is time that women with a strong moral compass and high self-respect serve as role models for today’s girls, interrupting their lives in a counter-culture fashion. It is time that we quit shaking our heads in disbelief, hiding our children under our skirts and take action! Brandish your service arms and give to the girls in your community. Our nation’s daughters desperately need to know that they are worthy of respect and need not be slaves of this culture.

I should be at Hollywood and Vine
carrying my “Free Paris” sign
cause freedom is a celebrity right
and I’m here to carry on the fight
banging on my bongos like a chimpanzee
I won’t stop until Paris is free-ee-ee

I want my, I want my Paris TV

Apologies to Dire Straits

women were the most infallible barometer to ascertain the degree of morality and virtue of a nation.

Dr. Laura has quoted her dad, who said roughly the same thing.... that men will do only what their women let them get away with.

Thanks for sharing this.

Paris is Free, But are We?

No, most of us are slaves to the government/media matrix.

I just loved when LArry asked her now that she had been in jail and thought about things what she wanted to change.
She said that she doesn’t like the way her voice gets high when she talks sometimes, she wants to correct that.

ROTFLMAO

...that the manners of women were the most infallible barometer to ascertain the degree of morality and virtue of a nation.”

Young John Q. was exposed to the French at an early age after joining his father over-seas during the Revolutionary War. The elder John was trying to get the monetary and military support of the French at the time. I'm sure the younger took in much of the sluttiness of that nation during those months.

The Germans should have destroyed Paris when they had the chance.

I blame the degenerates in the media for constantly covering the actions of these sluts. In a normal world Paris would just be another spoiled rich whore who nobody knew anything about. The pigs in the media want all little girls to grow up to be just like Paris and Rosie.

The danger to us is not her slutty behavior. It is the slutty behavior of the out of control law enforcement who made her a martyr. It is mob rule. We live in Nifonglangland. Paris Hilton deserved about four days in jail.

I feel sorry for that dingbat. I HATE the COPS GONE WILD who would jail any one of us for political points.

Well said, Amen.

If everybody stopped staying in Hilton hotels, that would certainly get the attention of that spoiled brat and her family. We should not pay stupidly-extravigant hotel bills to fund her ability to roar around dring-driving and flaunt the law and endangering everybody else on the road.

I’m hoping Paris Hilton turns over a new leaf as she has promised, and does something useful with her life — like maybe enlisting in the Marines, or doing USO tours. Or finding a cure for cancer. That would be a life well worth living. She could be truly proud of herself once our warriors start painting her picture on the side of our warplanes, or pinning her photo up in their barracks. Or passing her some ammo as they mow down the Bad Guys in some hell-hole in Iraq.

That would be a life worth living. I hope she does it.
