A day after his wife Elizabeth called in to MSNBCs Hardball to confront conservative commentator Ann Coulter, Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards made his own appearance on the show.
He dismissed Coulter, calling her mean-spirited, having no shame and being crazy. He defended his wifes efforts to ask Coulter to drop her personal attacks, saying, You have to stand up to them.
I dont think [Coulter] has any shame; theres no doubt about that, Edwards said. I think that's just the way she behaves. That's who she is. And I think that's a lot of what we see from these people who are just -- that are crazy.

Anne was right.......Edwards IS a faggot.
41 posts and no pictures yet. This place is going to the dogs
good on ya......I’ve posted that exact sentiment for two days.......................and why did NBC do this ?
They knew Ann was a book chapter and verse writer who could support her points. She did too.
Do you remember one point she made other than Edwards ?...If yes, most don’t.
Edwards is broke and falling so this energized a woman with cancer who lost a son............
Ann Coulter attacked cancer and dead babies.....
Now Chris is not seen as the P&$$@ he really is and was last night.
See how he ran to the embred society at the TODAY SHOW this mornin ?
And what is he being by calling her “crazy?” Nice???? Sounds “mean spirited” to me!

These comments could not fit more perfectly into Ann’s view of liberals. Everything is crazy, stupid, or mean to them if they are losing on the issues.
So much for his disdain for personal attacks.
If you see a greasy spot on the road, do you know how to tell if it was made by a trial lawyer or a possum?
If it had been a possum there would be skid marks.
Isn't this a personal attack?
That is the question, usually learned on a playground at about age 5.
He's drowning and Ann Coulter became his life preserver, for another few days.
He did not have the cajones to call in or appear.
He had to have his wife take care of it.
That may be because the paperback just came out.
COULTER: Actually, my favorite candidate is [Rep.] Duncan Hunter [R-CA], and he is magnificent. The problem is most people say, Whos Duncan Hunter? Hes a genuine war hero. He has one son, I think, in Iraq, one in Afghanistan. He is good on every single issue. He has been out front on building a wall. He did build a wall at San Diego. Hes very good on on the life issue. Hes good on everything.
[...]
COULTER: it just shows how unhappy we are with McCain, Giuliani and Romney that that Thompson steps in. People know very little about him and Oh, hes our guy, and its sort of like that with Obama, that the Democrats arent happy with their leading candidate, [Sen.] Hillary [Rodham Clinton (D-NY)], so they gravitate to Obama knowing nothing about him, and him being, you know, 14 years old.
A phoney silk pony? Or maybe a silk phoney?
When a dem candidate is reduced to debating Ann Coulter - a nobody - that is a sure sign they are not of presidential timber.
Bill Buckley is peeved!
