So are you saying that Ron Paul is not a conservative? Yes, actually.
To: VfB Stuttgart
Everyone is crazy and wrong expect Paul and Kucinich, huh?
This is just a pattern of anti-Israel votes by Paul. What about him being the only Republican to vote against condemning Hezbollah and supporting Israel last summer? (H.RES.921)
The fact is, Paul’s foreign policy is in line with Code Pink, Daily Kos and Dennis Kucinich’s.
To: VfB Stuttgart
Asking the UN to do it (and they won’t) exposes them as the anti-semitic organization they are.
Sometimes, one also needs to read between the lines.

I heard that Ron Paul lost a couple relatives at a Nazi concentration camp...they fell from the guard towers.

Ill give Ron Paul credit for one thing, his amazing ability to get these nuts all worked up on his behalf despite the fact that hes a zero-accomplishment imbecile He served in the military as an Air flight surgeon & delivered thousands of babies.
He's accomplished more than you have, that's for damn sure.
To: VfB Stuttgart
Ron Im very proud to call him my friend fares well not only in comparison with the partys sorry current candidates, but also with its legendary conservative giants, Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan. He lacks their charisma and of course Reagans matchless charm, but he excels them both in consistency, depth, historical awareness, courage, and honor. If Ron Paul is so historically aware, then how come he basically follows the same foreign policy that created World War II? Is he just simply not smart enough to learn from history?

I heard that Ron Paul lost a couple relatives at a Nazi concentration camp...they fell from the guard towers. Resorting to the same liberal tactics that you accuse Paul of being, using smears and lies.

No wonder Sobran likes him.
To: bigfootbob
Sobran had some decent commentary 10 years ago, he has since bumped his head or taken too many mind altering drugs. Incidental trivia - a friend of mine who is an Independent, Fundamental Baptist Pastor blew Sobran out of the water a few years ago in a theological debate they conducted by email.

First of all, just serving in the military does not grant one immunity from *sshole-ness. Many bad people have served in the military.
Secondly, “zero-accomplishment” in public life. Who gives a rat’s ass that some guy running for president is a doctor. Howard Dean aborted thousands of babies, does that alone qualify him for president?
To: inkling
"Ron Paul is not a conservative; hes a libertarian. They are not the same thing."Bingo!
His agreement with the Dems on foriegn policy like Iraq, support of illegal drugs, and opposition to a Human Life and Marriage Amendment are where I strongly differ with him.

Its easy to pass a Resolution (not a Bill, which imposes concrete changes on government policy, but a meaningless resolution) begging the UN to wag their fingers at the leader of Iran. Its easy because it distracts, and gets people with short attention spans fired up. It also forces people to reveal their inner thoughts on issues they'd often times just like to see left covered up, since then they are forced to show that they are kooks, evil, or simply just plain wrong. Which is why the RonPaulies don't like such "meaningless resolutions".

Show me a soul-winning Christian who has led even one person to the Lord, and that person has accomplished more than Ron Paul has.
To: NHGOPer
He is also the only Republican candidate for president who is truly what all the others pretend to be, namely, a conservative.
Duncan Hunter fails the Joe Sobran "true conservative" test? Oh well, I guess Hunter ISN'T a conservative...he's just a poseur.
