I also don’t see where Ron Paul can be compared to Goldwater or Reagan. Goldwater was a founding father of the New Right and was an interventionist when it came to foreign policy. He supported Eisenhower not Taft in 1952.

Paul on the other hand explicitly states that he is a “Taft Republican” and a non-interventionist.

Oh, it does not. It’s a toothless resolution that can’t be enforced and would make no change in law or policy. Anyone can vote anyway they want to on these resolutions and it makes no difference.

Which makes it all the more telling that Ron essentially voted FOR Ahmedinejad, even though doing so wouldn't have resulted in anything so nasty as, say, a war or anything.

The voters need to stop being so easily pacified, and demand real policy change, not these pointless resolutions.

Along with my question, I'll offer up a helpful hint: the Constitution doesn't grant rights. It guarantees rights that already exist independently of it.

Open borders is what we have now. Paul wants to close the borders, so I guess you're on the wrong side of that issue too.
