Boy did they hit her hard on the Good Morning show on NBC this morning. THey never read what Ann wrote! They completely side stepped the whole context of what she said and had Mathews and Vierra just rip her! How blatant and unfair ....

IN case anyone wonders. All Ann wrote (That I read) was that Edwards uses his dead son for sympathy and wears it on his sleeve like a bumper sticker. 3 years ago now. Boy is NBC desperate!!

I'm listening/watching the clip, and Ann sounds like an idiot. The shyster lawyer comments are irrelevant to the points Mrs Edwards was making. It wouldn't be tough to refute Mrs Edwards, but Ann did a poor job. Then again, that's what Ann does for a living. Me saying she sounded like an idiot is like saying a punk rock band sounded loud and obnoxious. Duh.

I'm as pro-freedom as it gets and would NEVER be in favor of censoring her, but her comments really do lower the tone of the debate at precisely the moment we should be raising it. We ought to be more noble-minded than that.

I just read on wikipedia that he has returned to radio. On June 4, 2007, it was announced that Phil Hendrie will return to radio June 25, 2007 from 10 PM to 1 AM PST on Talk Radio Network-FM, with shows airing weeknightly. However, the new show, while more lighthearted than most other talk radio shows about news and politics, does not have any comedic intent like his previous show, and Phil does not performs character voices in the new show.
