No, I am pointing out the error in the piece you quoted.
Kennedy: we’re going to pass this bill because it’s tough, fair and practical.
Steffie, of course, lets him filibuster.
Great finds Johnnie! Your articles are amazing.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Yep. That's the media's Holy Grail.
Steffie reads Kennedy the objections of the Latino organizations (we’re racists) and asks him about it. Kennedy has no answer.
He says the Dream Act will allow illegals to serve in the military.
Kennedy is just slapping away the objections.
MTP was flat out a free political commercial for democrats. Broder is a socialist / marxist.
as for Fox.......as long as Chris Weenie Wallace is host
it too sucks...BIG TIME
Lastly, so far.......Trent Lott needs an ole fashioned ass whippin...........
Kennedy says they have had 52 amendments.
Thanks for that information, snugs.
Let see in 4.5 years of war we have taken 3500 or so casualties. By any sane standard of military measurement, an overwhelming, unbelievable victory. This from the SAME media that was telling us we would take thousands of casualties in Baghdad alone in April 2003?
Let strip the PR posturing and demagogic fraud away here. What the Neo Isolationists on the Right, and the Appeasement Now Crowd on the Left, want is to be allowed to redefine victory when ever they feel like it.
The job of the Right side of the Media should be to fight te leftist noise machine, not sit on their butts whining day in and day out"why didn't Bush do this, Why didn't Bush do that".
President Bush is ONE guy. Pretty tough for any President to get his message out when everyone who SHOULD be his echo chamber spend all their time just echoing his political foes propaganda.
Kennedy says we have to pass this, we can fix it later.
ditto that..Gwen said Bloomberg has the media in his pocket
It's under the heading of "Don't make them legal but obsolete" http://hangrightpolitics.com/
As I have pointed out so often here the, “we have to have cheap illegals to pick fruit or go under” continues to be just more BS. What is wrong with going under anyway? 75% of my industry either went under or moved to the third world, maybe yours will have to do the same.
Check this one,and keep in mind there are all kinds of machinery on the market now that can replace the illegals invaders, you just have to be willing to spend a few bucks and as long as farmers don’t have to spend any dough they won’t.
Another thing that is often overlooked, many farmers have just about run their course. The third world is closing in on them. Fruits, vegetables and a wide variety of what we eat is now being shipped to the the US,for better or worse. And the day of the US farmer may be in decline.
I have no sadness for them! If it’s O.K. to destroy my industry its o.K. to destroy theirs, it’s predatory capitalism at its finest hour only the strong survive.
The DBM would so love Bloomberg to be another Perot... they'll do all they can(if he runs) to frame him that way.
well, really.........Lettuce McShame is just flat out nuts
I believe though the main government positions will be announced before the official hand over takes place in fact they may already have been announced. I am deliberately avoiding the media fest today.
Kennedy reminds us that they managed to defeat the US in Viet Nam and in the Contra affair and we’re going to manage to do it in Iraq. (Not exactly the way he put it, but that’s realy what it is.)
Note to Rush, there is no bill that you will approve and deportation is not a sane option.

Whether it is Paco or Hop Sing or Paddy, they are in this country illegally. It matters not that they are hard working or not. We can't have self-selected immigrants who violate laws. Someone else will wash the cars or mow the lawns if the price is right.
You guys see Brown hordes polluting our land when in fact many businesses need those people to make their businesses run.
The proponents of cheap, exploitable labor are the ones who like to cast others as racists. In actuality, they are the ones who enjoy the benefits of this underclass who have no real rights. Slave labor may have its economic benefits, but you also have social consequences.
We have aborted 40 million entry level workers in the past 40 years and now we have a shortage of those workers.
The population of the US has grown by 54 million since 1990. We will add 62 million in the next 23 years and 118 million in the next 43 years without this immigration bill. Do we need half a billion people in this country by 2050? How much will we need to invest in infrastructure such as roads, schools, energy generation, hosptials, etc.? And what are the social costs? Why are millions of high school dropouts who don't speak English so valuable to our economy? Who is really subsidizing their presemce here?
Funny, that is significantly lower their either the President's or the VP's approval rating
