Which is the Greater Threat? (Vanity)
Vanity ^ | June 23, 2007 | Chuck Dent

Posted on 06/23/2007 9:21:40 AM PDT by Chuck Dent

Which is the greater threat to the US, the rise of militant Islamo-fascism, or the Mexican invasion & re-colonization? Do either, or both, pose an existential threat to the United States?

If a nuke was touched off in a major city by terrorists, would it begin the irrevocable process by which the US would eventually cease to exist? Or would it be considered a tragedy that galvanized the county to come together and renew its efforts?

Is this also true of illegal immigration? Will we as a country repeal it or succumb to the onslaught? Decades/centuries from now, will historians be researching this moment in an attempt to explain the core source of the next territorial civil war?

So which represents the greatest threat? Are we really in a two-front war, one of which our elected leaders are not only refusing to fight, but are openly advocating surrender, or is it a figment of fevered imaginations?

To me they’re the same threat. Never before has a country fought a war while refusing to defend it’s borders and every islamofascist in the world knows our borders are wide open.

Also there are growing threats in south and central America in the form of Hugo Chavez and his friendship with our enemies. Plus there is the growth of islam in that part of the world as well.

If there is a consensus that our elected leaders are refusing to exercise their Constitutional oaths of office, what recourse does the citizenry have?

If recall is the appropriate course of action for Congresspersons (Senators & Representatives alike), what corrective procedures are available for the executive?

If this happened the US would, for all intents and purposes, would cease to exist. Either the fabric of the country will disintegrate or, and I think this is more likely, the country will be transformed into a total police state.

Just my opinion.

From the border patrol:

What is an Army?

What makes up an army? An army is made of men between the age of 15 and 35.

What comes across our border by the millions each year? Men between the ages of 15 and 35.

Afghan drug lords are now teamed with Mexican drug cartels to flood our cities with heroin. In Mexico, this Muslim Connnection to the drug cartels has brought beheadings to the streets of border towns. Many Mexican cities are now surrounded by Mexican Army troops and tanks — all to quel the violence. The city of Tijuana had its entire 3,000 man police force disarmed and replaced with Mexican Federal Troops.

What we have below are two images. One is of an enemy we fought tooth and claw for seventy years nearly bankrupting our country. The other we today invite across our border with welfare, free medical care, and more. The centers of many American cities are now controlled by MS-13 and others of the most violent gangs in America’s entire history. These gangs want to kill police and federal agents to rise in reputation among their own kind. Our prisons are now filled with a violent criminal class never seen before anywhere on earth.

In all of the 70 years of the Soviet Union — including the years of the proxy war of Vietnam.— they killed fewer Americans in total than Mexican Illegal Aliens do inside this country in a single year.

What is our Border Patrol to do when these people invade our country? Run and hide. This is the actual card carried by the U.S. Border Patrol which spells out in detail what they are to do when these Mexican gangs or the Mexican Army invade our country.

I would hope other places would cease to exist.

No question both are threats, however by far the most immediate and most fatal threat is the "Mexican invasion and recolonization".

Even if a terrorist was to explode a nuclear device in our Country, it would not threaten our Country's existence. We would rebuild and redouble our efforts against the terrorists.

Once the invaders of our Country, and I include all invaders not just those from Mexico, are given legal status, the harm to our Country is irreparable. No matter who is elected in the future, there will be no way to turn back the clock. Our Country will become poorer, more socialist and totally controlled by Democrats. The fabric of our culture will be irreparably torn with the eventual balkanization of America and maybe the total elimination of the United States with the creation of a North American Union.

"Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of greater sin.” Those who betray their own Country and Countrymen are indeed traitors and should be called out as such.

If a nuke were detonated in the US...

1. People would be outraged
2. Idiots would start the blame game
3. We’d hopefully anhialate (sp)the middle east
4. We’d seal the border with the troops brought home from the middle east
5. Meanwhile, the blame game would continue......

Islamo Fscism

As soon as the first bomb goes off, I bet most illegals scramble south

However, there might be more than a few who will become squatters in the waste lands...with no resistance at all.

I disagree.
It would be the absolute end of the liberal ideology as we would turn on the enemy in a no regrets fashion and destroy them and anyone who supports, defends, sympathizes, or is near them.
What would we have to lose if others think we are insensitive and brutal?
We would do what the Lebanese army just did.

Before I respond let me emphasize that I AM NOT in favor of the CIB.

That being said, I think a guest worker program is needed for the following reasons:

1) Take the pressure off the border

2) We would know who, what, where, and why people are in this country.

3) We could concentrate in going after those who are undocumented.

4) No automatic citizenship for anchor babies and no special treatment for extended families.

Also, I am opposed to spending $1,705 per foot ($143 per inch) of fencing that won’t work and would take about two-to-five years to be built, that will be breeched.

Having said all that radical Islam is the greater of the threat.

Which is the greater threat to the US, the rise of militant Islamo-fascism, or the Mexican invasion & re-colonization?

Your question is mis-framed if the intent is to determine the greatest threat to the US. Your question is analogous to wondering if exposure to bubonic plague or smallpox is a greater threat to a gunshot victim with a mortal wound.

However, before you can address either your question or my implied one, one must define exactly what is the “US.” Is it a geographic entity defined by political and natural boundaries? Alternately, is it a set of governing philosophies and principles combined with a certain economic system. Perhaps, is it a common culture shared by relatively contiguous population? Still, yet, is it some combination of all of these?

If you define the US as merely a geographic entity, then there could be a cogent argument made that external attacks (militant Islamic fanatics) represent a greater threat than the so-called “illegal immigrant” invasion. On the other hand, if you define the US as a set of governing philosophies and principles combined with a certain economic system, then a large influx of population who refuse to recognize the value of these philosophies and principles and decline to accept them or assimilate into the remainder of the population represents the greater threat.

However, neither of these is the greatest threat to the US. The greatest threats to the US are “creeping socialism” and its enabling cohort, “secular humanism.” These two philosophies directly attack the core of governing philosophies, principles and economic system of the US making an external threat more deadly than it might otherwise be or the refusal of an immigrant group (illegal, or otherwise) to assimilate more dangerous. Furthermore, these interlopers are aided and abetted by two major institutions within our Republic, the mainstream media and the public education system.

Therefore, your question should not be concerned with either, militant Islamo-fascism or the Mexican invasion. Rather, your concern and questions must address the greatest danger to our Republic.

If you answer that question honestly, you're going to get on some alphabet agency's List Of People To Watch. See: Claire Wolf.

I think you are guilty of wishful thinking.

It will depend on who is in charge. If they bomb us when Hillary is President, it will be the start of the culmination of Socialist USA, for she will order the GOVT to form work battalions to rebuild

camps to re-educate the masses

camps to run the farms because we will be on gas rationing so we will need migrant labor to reap the harvest in Mexifornia

laborers to sweep streets and sewers

instand national health care, forced upon us due to the emergency, to NEVER be revoked...

That little boy in the Russian Army uniform is just about the saddest thing I’ve seen. He’s the spittin’ image of my 12 yr old stepson.

Thank you for posting this. Being a Border Contol Agent has got to be one of the most thankless and frustrating jobs imaginable.

God help America...
