HH: Now Senator Kyl, why the attacks on talk radio from your colleagues, Senators Lott and Graham? It doesn’t, in any event, it cannot possibly help the party, and it can’t help the bill. What are they thinking?
JK: You know, I hate to speak for my colleagues, but I can suggest in the case of Senator Lott, because I’ve talked to him about it, is just said in frustration. If you look at it from his standpoint and mine, there is so much misinformation, and by the way, a plug for you, whatever your feelings on the legislation, you’ve tried very hard to get facts out. I mean, you just asked me a series of about eight questions that are designed to elicit information.
HH: Right.
JK: Well, not all talk radio is quite that constructive. And I’m afraid that there’s some of my friends who, for ratings or whatever purposes, have chosen to ignore some of the facts, and stress some things that were incorrect.
IMO, they are both despicable in their own ways. Though my dislike for Kyl is far more raw given his betrayal came out of “left” field. I no longer distinguish between my enemies, all have the same goal in mind. Controlling the American people, establishing themselves as our royal class.
Be it Kyl, McCain, kennedy even Bush. All liars. All betrayers of the good people that elected them to represent them. Some doubt about the people of Mass, but the other states? They didn’t vote for this.
I would love to know in what harebrained concoction they’ve deduced silencing talk radio will help get a Republican elected. Oh, right, all the mexicans granted amnesty will vote for them. LOL
There is a big difference between Trent Lott and Robert Byrd. Robert Byrd doesn’t back down or bow to the Gods of PC, betray his base, or support amnesty. I used to laugh about Byrd, but no more - he stopped an attempt for amnesty several years ago and is more conservative on immigration than Kyl, McCain or Lott.
Backstabbers. They are all deluded. People from the right and left are getting sick of the real problem: elitists who lie to us and take us all for fools. The elitists are mad, because they're getting those "Bush pesos" contributions to the RNC/DNC.
They're desperate because we the sheeple are onto them. There is a quiet revolution going on, and they are running scared, because they have lost control. They pushed us too hard, backstabbed us once too often, and lost their base. This time we will neither forgive nor forget, nor will we give them one red cent!
That’s a good point.
Know what? We need to get all candidates on the record about the attacks these elites have made. Including our presidential candidates. they need to be added to the lists of contacts we make this wekk, not just our Senators. make them take a position on Kyl, on Lott, on McCain.
Thanks. This could be a good time for one of the “second tier” candidates (tiers a MSM creation to control the contest) to break out by coming to the defense of the talk show callers and hosts. Mitt Romney may have to choose sides on this, and I hope he gets it right. Fred Thompson, he’ll be helpful for sure, and will probably sum up the situation in a folksy but wise sentence or two.
Byrd has earned some respect. Maybe the people of West Virginia weren’t so wrong to keep him around. At least he doesn’t try to sell away their citizenship for $5000.
Yup saw that. A few years ago Hitlery wanted to silence the internet also. What a champion for First Amendment rights.
How true. The RNC screwed Graf because he was against Amnesty. Bush and the RNC supported a Democrat over a Republican in an effort to further their Amnesty goals.
The Democrat - Gabby Giffords is a complete light weight. Votes along with Nancy Pelosi.
My only hope is that the Republican that runs for the seat in 2008 is against Amnesty.

IT is long time for some of these old RINO’s go and retire. It is too bad when Senator Byrd is right and we have Trent Lott, Geroge W., and the rest of the RINO crew wrong.
As for the statement that we are going to lose ‘08, not if we all get behind Fred. He is our ONLY hope.

I have read the very same thing. He has been promised a ‘Federal Bench’ by you-know-who, if he gets this thing to pass.
What I don’t understand, is why he voted ‘no’ the first time this bill came to a vote. Heck - isn’t he one of the authors of the Shamnesty Bill?
There is clearly very little difference between the Demoncrat party and the once honorable (somewhat) Republican party. The only segment of honor, duty and dignity left is the rank and file military. Will it take having the spineless sellout politicians leading this nation and culture to the brink of collapse and a military led rescue of the nation to save the USA?
I wonder.

If this is true, the judgeship thing, then he’s selling out. But in doing so he’s selling out his supporters, his national reputation, and his respect among those he should be standing with. Sen. Kyl, you should earn your judgeship with a record of quality, not buy it with your sacrificed reputation.

Nah. Remember that there are all sorts of tax increases and other good stuff to vote for or against.
We don’t need legislation, we need a wall and an Attorney General who will prosecute mayors of sanctuary cities.
Next time, offer Hugo a cold beer and offer to sponsor him for a work visa/passport attachment. He will chug the beer and still run away, because you need a passport or visa and a work sponsor to get that attachment in the first place. Tell Hugo to become a nurse and pass the NCLEX exam in English. The visa attachment comes in 3 months and the resident card in 9 months. Imagine a nurse called Hugo.
