JK: You know, I hate to speak for my colleagues, but I can suggest in the case of Senator Lott, because I’ve talked to him about it, is just said in frustration. If you look at it from his standpoint and mine, there is so much misinformation, and by the way, a plug for you, whatever your feelings on the legislation, you’ve tried very hard to get facts out. I mean, you just asked me a series of about eight questions that are designed to elicit information.
HH: Right.
JK: Well, not all talk radio is quite that constructive. And I’m afraid that there’s some of my friends who, for ratings or whatever purposes, have chosen to ignore some of the facts, and stress some things that were incorrect.
So, they are going to try and ‘sneak it through’ with the ‘cloture’? Oh, no!

I’m with Hugh 99% on this issue and I also believe Sen. Kyle when he says some hosts aren’t being accurate in explaining the bill.
That doesn’t mean he’s call all other hosts liars.
Don’t you mean if the RINOs vote “for” cloture?
They could always jump back to the Demonrat party just before filing for office in time for their next election cycle. One big happy tent party over there. LOL.
Kyl, like the rest of these panderers have let their pride get in the way of the facts. They want a bill just to say they tried. Just like CFR, their fix will make things much worse instead of any better.

The senator never used the word “liar”. He did say there was “disinformation”, but the word “liar” takes on a whole new personal meaning that I don’t believe he was implying. It also appears that you created that headline yourself. When I went to the link to read the entire article, the headline was: “Senator Jon Kyl updates on the status of the immigration bill, and news about the amendments being offered.”
While I strongly agree with you on this amnesty matter. You are distorting this a bit. This is what I expect of the main stream media, not FR. Don’t make your own headlines, and put words in someone’s mouth. You should consider writing for newsmax.com.

With all due respect, what did I ‘distort’? I merely asked a question. I never even mentioned the word ‘liar’. What headlines am I making? What words am I putting in someone’s mouth?

I agree. I never thought I would be so negative concerning the GOP. I talked to life long repubs and new repubs who are fed up, most all conservatives. We have to get these people out of office. They don’t represent us.
My husband, who was initially all for legalizing illegals, and he’s more conservative than I am, saw the truth the other day. We hammered this out often for months (in a nice fun way). I still don’t think most see it this way.
