Trashed maps spur TSA damage control

Homeland Security officials are being warned not to toss secret documents that could compromise transportation security into the ordinary trash after hundreds of such papers marked "sensitive" reportedly were found in a city trash container near the Orlando International Airport in Florida.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) used its most recent newsletter to tell employees not to throw away outdated materials stamped as "Sensitive Security Information" (SSI).

"There have been recent news stories about a young person who went Dumpster diving near a major airport and found an airport binder that contained documents marked as [SSI]", the newsletter said.

Maybe that's what the TSA employees thought of the pearls of wisdom written on the 'papers'.

"They won't flush?? Well, just trash can 'em then."

I watched the video. I don’t think she lied. Also, I think it is hard to defend TSA after reading this article-but hey don’t let the evidence get in the way of your admiration for this fine organization (sarcasm)- protecting American skies from blond mommies and thirsty toddlers, but not it seems being careful with sensitive documents-tsk, tsk.

Oh, absolutely!

Pres. Bush: Today I'm announcing the formation of the Department of Government Department Oversight (DGDO). The director will report directly to me.

Join me in welcoming this new era of governmental effectiveness as we work together to ensure a compassionate oversight of the activities of the critical structure of departments which unfailingly and surely work the tireless and thankless jobs necessary for the continued success and operation of the nation in which we live as fellow citizens who welcome this new era of governmental effectiveness, working together to ensure a compassionate oversight of the activities of the critical structure of departments which unfailingly and surely work the tireless and thankless jobs necessary for the continued success and operation of the nation in which we live as fellow citizens who welcome this new era of governmental effectiveness, working together to ensure a compassionate oversight of the activities of the critical structure of departments which unfailingly and surely work the tireless and thankless jobs necessary for the continued success and operation of the nation in which we live as fellow citizens who welcome this new era of governmental effectiveness, working together to ensure a compassionate oversight of the activities of the critical structure of departments which unfailingly and surely work the tireless and thankless jobs necessary for the continued success and operation of the nation in which we live as fellow citizens who welcome this new era of governmental effectiveness, (etc..)

This why I can’t understand why anybody would want the government to run health care.

They’re the ones who screwed it up over the past 60 years with government policies. So of course they’re the best ones to run it!

If you have no healthcare (my nephew doesn’t), you are desperate to have it and would probably allow satan to run it- if neccesary. My niece has been ill for years with a serious-sometimes fatal disease. Her Dad has missed better job oportunities because he can not risk losing health insurance. People do receive emergency care in ER’s but if you are uninsured and have a serious illness, you could easily die from lack of treatment. I don’t want the government involved either, but I understand why people want and sometimes believe they need this.

I hate to be the school-marm type, but you forgot the "i" in "ruin."

Of course there is. The Department of Redundancy Department is very competent.
