He’s going to be the Ross Perot of 2008, giving us a Clinton Presidency.

Doubtful. He'd siphon more votes from Hillary than from the Republican candidate.

Bloomie will hurt Hildabeast rather than help. He’ll peel off just enough New England libs and put NY in serious play, perhaps enough that the right Republican can win there.

Ross Perot was at least a fiscal conservative. Bloomie is a lib. Bloomie will pull more “moderate” and dem voters.

Now, if only we can get McCain and Specter to follow suit.

“He’s going to be the Ross Perot of 2008, giving us a Clinton Presidency.”

I think he’s actually much more likely to siphon off Democrat votes than Republican votes. He was always a down-the-line liberal.

So Cal,

Both him and Hagel aren't worth a bucket of warm spit and yes we will get Hillary with these two clowns.

At least Perot touched a nerve with people for a while.

These two clowns stand for Ogots....

He’ll draw more from her thighness.

He was a Dim long before he pretended to be a republican.

This is actually good news. He's going to split the liberal/moderate vote with the Dems. Conservatives and folks who really pay attention to the issues will never vote for him.

And he'll force the GOP candidates to move further to the right, another plus.

Bloomberg was a card carrying Democrat in New York who couldn’t get on the party’s ticket so he bought the Republican side and ran with his money. He’ll siphon more from Hillary the B**ch than he will from any Republican. Bloomberg has no national base and not a prayer with a conservative.

Not necessarily. He is definitely a liberal. The areas of the country that he will gain support from would be the northeast and possibly liberal pockets in the west, like San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle. He will have little or no support from the south and fly over country.

He just might grab more votes from the Dim than the Republican candidate.

Keep in mind that the last few elections, be they national or statewide, have been decided by just a few percentage points. Bloomers only needs to pull a few percentage points more of Dims then Republicans to completely screw up the election for Dims.

Ross Perot didn't 'give' us anything. President Bush didn't run a strong enough campaign to convince some to vote for him. Contrary to 'conservative' thought, it's not the responsibility of the citizenry to blindly vote for anyone with the right letter by their name. It is the responsbility of the candidate to represent his constituency and win their vote
