Human chain protest stretching from Mecca to Palm Springs

NewsChannel 3

Hundreds of Coachella Valley residents are expected to line up in the streets Monday night to protest the immigration bill currently in the US Senate.

Event organizers plan to form a human chain from one end of the Coachella Valley to the other.

The rally begins at 7 PM lasting about an hour and a half.

The grassroots organization known as Comite Latino is putting this on and they're hoping nearly 3,000 people show up.

This is the second demonstration Comite Latino has organized this year the last one happening on May 1st known as 'A Day without an Immigrant."

Comite Latino has been busy promoting the event speaking at churches, posting flyers throughout the valley, doing television and radio interviews

The organizers tell NewsChannel 3 they came up with the human chain idea just last week and so far, the Hispanic community is supporting it.

If you're interested in taking part in this, here's where to line up.

In Indio Highway 111 near the K-Mart store.
In Mecca Second Street and Avenue 62.
In Thermal on Church Street.
In Coachella on Harrison between Avenues 48 and 52.
And in Cathedral City Gerald Ford and Highway 111.

Everyone is invited to participate you don't have to be Hispanic.

But, organizers request that you wear a white t-shirt to signify solidarity and because white shirts can be seen clearly in the evening.

Also, bring a flashlight. At the end of the rally around 8:30, participants will turn on their flashlights to symbolize 'rays of hope' that a fair immigration reform policy will eventually pass.

I don’t understand the wording - is this pro- or anti-amnesty?

“they’re hoping nearly 3,000 people show up.”

Fine. 3,000 illegal immigrants support Kennedy’s bill. The other 300,000,000 law-abiding citizens oppose it. But the message Congress hears is that we need to get this amnesty bill passed.

There is no chance of real representation in Congress unless the law-abiding masses strike back in a big way and scare the bejeebers out of Congress and the White House.

Mecca is about 30 miles se of Palm Springs.

3000 wanted

~30 miles

100 people per mile feet per mile

5280 feet per mile

People must 52.8 feet arm span to hold hands.

The communities are all suburbs of Palm Springs. When the desert Palm Springs area was first developed it was prior to the most recent (late 20th century) emergence of Islamofacism, so naming a desert town Mecca merely seemed quaint and exotic, with a hint of Arabian Nights and flying carpets and all that.

A HUMAN CHAIN “from Mecca Saudi Arabia to Palm Springs”
Would have to go back and forth twice to represent the 32 million people who would benefit from amnesty and the tidal wave of legal chain migration and further illegal immigration that would result from it.

...

1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year. http://tinyurl.com/zob77

2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens. http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html

3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens. http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/fiscalexec.html

4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English! http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

7. 30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for
Welfare & social services by the American taxpayers. http://premium.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0610/29/ldt.01.html

9. $200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American
wages are caused by the illegal aliens. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that’s two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the United States . http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0606/12/ldt.01.html

11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroine and marijuana, crossed into
the U. S. from the Southern border. Homeland Security Report: http://tinyurl.com/t9sht

12. The National Policy Institute, “estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.” http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/pdf/deportation.pdf

Easiest way to get them to disperse: Tell them that Wal Mart has Pampers and Tecate, both at $1.00 for a case. ;-)

No. Non-muslims (kufir) are prohibited entry into Mecca under penalty of death. And the Saudi government funds the construction of mosques in the US (in violation of “church and state” separations).

Is Saudi Arabia illegals get a hearing. They hear if the deportee wants to sit in the back or the front of the cage on the back of a truck as they’re driven to the airport to be sent home. Westerners and Saudis can get bumped from their flights as deportees have first priority.
