Lonsberry has said what I feel. We have to start getting rid of politicians who are not looking out for America. This is no longer the America my parents knew. In Florida we can start by unloading our Senators, Martinez and Nelson. I will campaign actively for Adam Putnam if he chooses to run for the Senate. No more illegal immigrants!

The panel on Bulls and Bears was beating up on a woman from Mothers Against Illegal Aliens. Then I realized that one of the panelist, John Bradshaw Layfield is JBL from Smackdown. I sent FOX an e-mail telling them I now consider Bulls and Bears to be fake too.

“Then, after a couple of years, talk about legalization and pathways.”

This misses the whole problem. This is “national suicide” called “regularization”.

Gordon Smith, has, amazingly, got right with this.

I agree! I have been writing and calling Martinex and Nelson almost every day on this issue. Will say, I did receive one standard reply from Nelson. Nothing from Martinez. I will do everything I can to support anyone who runs against them when their seats come up.

Then, after a couple of years, talk about legalization and pathways.

He could've left that part out and I'd be 100% agreement.

What a superb article. Amazingly, it reads as though I wrote it myself. That is to say, it couldn't have expressed my views of the whole issue better than if I had written it.

I'm ready to march to Washington and run around and cause chaos! Just calling and faxing isn't giving me "satisfaction" anymore.

The imperial Senate, Congress and President are about to see the chickens come home to roost and they are too arrogant to see the signs.

Although it is about immigration, it is also about all the garbage they cram down our throats every session. The sleeping giant is not the American government, but the American people, and the elected “representatives” cram-down of this unpopular bill is the issue that is waking a long sleeping populace.

Their arrogance is their downfall.

We are the United States of America – they aren't. It is supposed to be government for, of and by the people, not imposed on the people.

We are mad as **** and we aren't going to take it anymore!

Well, they've got another think coming. This time they've got a fight on their hands.

Wrong. The fight's over and we lost. The issue will be up before Congress again before the week is out, and this time the pro-globalist, pro-big business sector of Congress, which is most of it, will come out on top.

The big money contributors in the agriculture, construction, retail, and other Chamber of Commerce businesses will have their way on this issue no matter what we the voters want. The pols know they can ignore us and still get 98% or more of us to vote for them along party lines next year just as we did last time around.

AFAIC this is the defining issue for my Senators and Cogressman. If any one of them votes against my interests in the matter I will not vote for him again no matter what else he has done that I may favor or what his party affiliation is. (It's Repub for all 3)

Too funny. I’ve been working on a Vanity Post that resembles this piece almost to the word. Good for Lonsberry, I more than likely wouldn’t have posted mine.

Obviously I agree 100%.

I love how the pundits are hitting the nail on the head in this whole matter. President Bush and Congress are acting like imperial King George and his court. It may be time for a second American revolution.

And actively take down every candidate and party that pushes forward this asinine immigration bill

Roger that. If the Republicans think they did poorly in 2006, wait until they see what happens in 2008. I held my nose in 2006, but no way will I do it again in 2008.

I guess a President Hillary is what it's going to take to get some real Republicans back into the game.

I taught my 12 year-old daughter that this country was an experiment - something new - that the Founders conceived of a government where the people were sovereign and not the other way around.

I bet she has a better grasp of the way this country is supposed to work than her elected representatives.

I agree. It's torch and pitchfork time. I want to get in someones face and tell them "We just don't believe you any more!". The only problem with me doing that is that both of my senators (Alabama) are against the bill.

If someone will put together a big national rally to show the politicians we mean business I'll travel to DC.

American wages were suppressed, ...
Here is one thing that I find most puzzling. Wages of US citizens are set at a certain legal level by minimum wage standards. The construction and some services like hotels and restaurants can avoid paying minimum wages by hiring illegals. The conundrum is that this is winked at by the entire system. Wage earners are displaced by illegals who, since they are afraid of losing their jobs by deportation, won't raise a fuss about the minimum wages. So how does increasing the minimum wage level help anybody but the guys who are willing work for less? So the feel good legislation meant to help the poor and the down trodden ends up helping Jose and Pedro from Oaxaca. Joe Sixpack can't work on a drywall crew anymore because the contractor refuses to hire anybody who will make a fuss to the Fair Labor Relations Board. Americans would work in the restaurant, construction labor, janitors, etc. if they could get hired. When politicans imply that these jobs are beneath the dignity of American workers they are disingenuous.

I always liked Lonsberry. Always entertaining and usually pretty much right on the money. I was ticked when the PTB axed his radio show.
