We are the United States of America they aren't. It is supposed to be government for, of and by the people, not imposed on the people. We are mad as **** and we aren't going to take it anymore!

I taught my 12 year-old daughter that this country was an experiment - something new - that the Founders conceived of a government where the people were sovereign and not the other way around.
I bet she has a better grasp of the way this country is supposed to work than her elected representatives.

In my opinion, the average American has been played for a fool. Democrats and a lot of republican politicians have won many elections because they have promised and delivered free “entitlements” to the welfare class and they never miss a vote. Joe six pack has been too involved with his career, beer,TV, and sports to vote. I guess we have the government that we deserve.
