Wrong. The fight's over and we lost. The issue will be up before Congress again before the week is out, and this time the pro-globalist, pro-big business sector of Congress, which is most of it, will come out on top.
The big money contributors in the agriculture, construction, retail, and other Chamber of Commerce businesses will have their way on this issue no matter what we the voters want. The pols know they can ignore us and still get 98% or more of us to vote for them along party lines next year just as we did last time around.
AFAIC this is the defining issue for my Senators and Cogressman. If any one of them votes against my interests in the matter I will not vote for him again no matter what else he has done that I may favor or what his party affiliation is. (It's Repub for all 3)
Yeah. If the so called representatives really cared about the American citizen and this nation’s security, they wouldn’t be talking about bring this bill back. Just to bring this bill up for amendments, cloture, and a vote, is an insult.
The problem is that there is an unholy alliance now between the socialists and corporations. The business’s want to socialize their costs, the politician’s want to get gobs of campaign money without bothering with the little guy. A marriage of convenience that screws the rest of us, and we get to pay for it all too!!! Talk about gravy.
The US corporations and the ruling elites think that we should become their slaves and pay for this cozy deal. And marching is not going to stop this, and neither are phone calls.
