You can watch today's "Fox News Sunday" with Chris Wallace on a podcast at the link.
Krauthammer opines that only the House can stop the Immigration Bill, now.
(Also, there's a really good interview with Petraeus.)

They want to pass the controversial crap now so that the idiots who vote for them won’t be seeing this stuff on the so called News a year from November.
One of our custodians at work put a sign on the trash can he wheels around..."Free Paris!"
This is nonsense. Mitch McConnell is not sure it will pass. All these pundits are clueless.
Hey. That's not their job. Remember, they're "fair and balanced."
Krauthammer is not quite as bad as the rest of the open border loonies at Fox News but they’ve been wrongly predicting its passage in the Senate from the beginning. It can still be stopped and we can’t let up.
Everybody knows what is needed. Keep the heat on them. They're all so damned concerned with holding their seat that they'd do or say anything that they think will help hold their office.
It doesn't take too many of the worms to make it impossible for this unholy bill to fly in the sunshine. The back room deals are the killers, and those are the things that these spinless leeches need to answer for.
MONEY is talking, and that will pass the Amnesty bill, while the taxpayers foot the cost.
It is time to replace the tin ears. All they can hear is the lobby.
I suspect it will and come election time when the Republicans who supported it come up for re-election, nobody will remember what they did to this country..........
TERM LIMITS IS THE ONLY CURE FOR WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE GOP IN WASHINGTON!
The media and government have a lot of little tricks up their sleeve. It’s simple propaganda. Tell the viewer that it will pass so the viewer loses the will to fight against it. When this “compromise” was first announced, they announced it as a done deal when no one had even looked at it.
It’s the same thing as the democrats repeated claims that the war in Iraq is lost.
“......,its not like the Senate is populated by men and woman of principle and conviction, just a bunch of self serving politicians with no sense of right or wrong !!!”
It is? I’m shocked! Shocked I tell ya! Seriously, I just looked at (Alaska) Lisa Murkowski’s website and her view on the issue. I simply could not figure from that how she will vote in the end, but I am leaning toward she will vote in favor of it. It seems to me that many in the Senate will “against it” but in the end will vote for it and later try to convince us that it was the best they could do under the circumstances and they, (harumph) are privy to information that we just to not have and thus know what is best...yadda, yadda, yadda. I no longer live in Alaska, but I follow what goes on there. I am unfortunate enough to have Sen Kyl to be directly concerned about. Thye one thing the republican members are failing to realize is that this is not something that will blow over with the passage of time. The will have to answer for it to the voters the next time around. For well established (entrenched) senators like Kyl, from high population areas, voting them out may be difficult. In places like Alaska it is certainly doable. I can tell you having lived in Alaska from 1974 ‘til 2004 that there is nothing weirder than politics in Alaska and perhaps it is just Alaska being the kind of place it is, politically. Too long a subject to really explain here, but any Alaskan reading this will likely know just what I mean. Long winters do make politics a sport in some ways. And people are passionate about politics. And a smaller population makes it more difficult for politicians to hide. However, Sen. Ted Stevens hanging on there term after term has amazed me for years.
Exactly.

On the day of cloture Barnes was predicting it would pass overwhelmingly. I believe Rupert Murdoch is shilling for Bush on this and may have given instructions to keep things as pro-amnesty as possible.
“I can tell you having lived in Alaska from 1974 til 2004 that there is nothing weirder than politics in Alaska”
Don’t be too hard on Alaskan politics,I live in Massholechuetts and politics here isn’t just weird, it’s depressing !!!
No amnesty, no more fast track (which got us CAFTA et. al.
Was it a live interview with General Petraeus? Was he in the studio or was it a remote?
I have my Senators and Representatives number and will call AGAIN tomorrow.
So do I.
I don’t like it but that is the way things go.
We are abou to get royally screwed without any vasoline used on us.
