Breaking News on the Nifong case being read right now on FoxNews TV. I'm hearing convictions out numbering for each indictment outnumber no convictions at least 3 to one. The guy is going down and going down HARD.
I’m sure he has funds stashed away. He’ll live off the the interest.

In the case of most attorneys, I'd agree with you. I retired when I was 50; my wife retired when she was 48. This is not particularly unusual.
This guy seems to be too concerned with pension issues for that to likely be the case. I could be wrong, but I'd guess that his pension was his major asset. Most of those civil service type pensions are conditioned, in one way or another, upon honorable service. At a minimum he should be stripped of a couple of years worth of time computation on his pension.

As to jail time? Ain’t gonna happen. The immunities for prosecutors are unending. They are even immunized from criminal liability for proved, malicious prosecutions.

The majority of them will claim they “still believe something happened”. There are people out there who can’t comprehend the truth because they don’t even know what it looks like.

After Nifong won the election, he could have dismissed all the charges when the stripper kept changing her story once again. IMHO he is a sociopath who enjoyed hurting the players and their families.
