Breaking News on the Nifong case being read right now on FoxNews TV. I'm hearing convictions out numbering for each indictment outnumber no convictions at least 3 to one. The guy is going down and going down HARD.
Don’t forget that many lacrosse players were forced out of classes, and in some cases simply flunked by the professors for no reason!
Didn’t all three have to leave the college? What about recouping their tuitions?
“there is simply no other choice.”
you said it. he is a very dangerous man who apparently betrayed his oath of office. the question is, why.
apparently, his loyalties lie with other agencies/people/organizations; who the heck are they?
I saw him trying to figure out how to save himself. It seems obvious he never thought he would never be held accountable for his words and deed-I could see the shock settling over him. I listened to one of the Dads give the account on how it has affected every member of their family and beyond.
He screwed the pooch.
Listening to a lawyer defend another lawyer who screwed the pooch is kinda like being forced to watch a menage a trois with pygmies.
“Neidermeir? Dead!”
“Nifong? Dead!”
Although he’s been disbarred, which is great, this SOB, as I’ve stated before on this thread, should be put UNDER a jail!
“Game’s” on. Final comments ongoing.
He certainly is beating him as well Nifong deserves. I’m watching it on FNC and the guy doesn’t seem ready to stop any time soon!
That’s why we have pygmie tosses, my FRiend!
I wish I had time to watch this whole show today - so many parrallels to the object of our attentions it’s dripping down my shirt.
Hey Nifong guess what? Your not above the law afterall. SOB!@
They should also calculate the loss of income for the rest of their lives, due to the stigma of being called rapists.
See post 72. PPD people develop a fact pattern and any fact that doesn't "jibe" with the fact pattern they have preconceived is to be denied, lied about, or will cause them to flip out.
It's like a mega-version of "I have my faults but being wrong isn't one of them." Nifong will go to his grave actually believing "something happened in that bathroom" because he, like the judge and lead detective in my case, decided on a fact pattern and anything that contradicts that fact pattern will be "dealt with" instead of changing their mind.
This affliction hits maybe 1 in 6 adults, more prevalent in middle aged males. Charlie Sheehan is a good example with his nutty 911 conspiracy beliefs, probably heriditary from his father, the better-known nut of the two, Martin.
I have wandered through large crowds populated with a majority of individuals with this affliction. In the crocumentary "Fahrenheit 911" one such group was pictured as harmless, peace-loving souls. In real life, though, the group, Fresno Peace, members surrounded the very Sheriff's cars that were on hand to keep peace, when one of their leaders was arrested for failure to obey a lawful order from the police. And they wondered why the police felt they needed to keep track of'em.
Think we’ll get any apologies from the News & Observer, the Durham Times-Herald, WRAL-TV or WTVD-TV? Or the NAACP, the pot bangers, the black church folks, Je$$ie Jack$on or Al Sharpton? Let’s don’t hold our breath.
So many different things, many of them completely unfair, tipped that election. I agree that this was one of them.
There is no way to erase all of the damage he caused from the lives of the victims of his crimes.
This, however, has got to be sweet medicine in helping the young men regain some of their lives.
I agree, anyone ever prosecuted by this guy will probably get an instant appeal.
Don't they deserve equal justice?
Are you an elitist, believing that poor people are better and deserve more justice?
