Whoa! Those are some major names on that list. Thanks for the link. I’d never heard of Bonnaroo before.
I might be back later. But if not, good night :)
***But I still love FR.***
I do too, Jonny. Yes, the trolls should all be sent off to the Kingdom of the Trolls and put in irons. Then they should all be made to kiss the bare, ugly feet of their queen, Queen Hillary. But, still, I learn SO much on FR.
The paper said that people came to it from several NE states plus all over the SE. Most bring tents to try to sleep in. It is one of the biggest musical activities in this area.
Go to the site that is listed in an earlier post, number 51, I think.
***i agree, if they hate Bush that much why dont they go over to the jackass sites, im sure they would be more than welcomed!***
I think the jackass sites are their home and they’re sent over here to prove they do really hate Bush. They get points for every rotten post, and when they get enough the DUers release their wives and children from bondage.
Ping!
The Seymours were among the competitors who were trying to work their way into the royal family. Lady Jane Seymour was their candidate to accomplish it.
I feel more regret about the Earl of Surrey, who was a fine poet. But the Seymours poisoned the King’s mind against him, and he was beheaded along with his father.
One of his best poems was written while he was imprisoned at Windsor Castle awaiting execution, the place where he had played with the King’s illegitimate son, Henry Fitzroy, as a youth:

We attended the 25th Phildelphia Folk Festival, back in the 80's, and it was ZOO! We got real lucky, though, with parking. We pulled up and saw the mass of cars in the overflow lot, and realized that it would take us hours to get out of there after the concert that evening. Just outside the gates of the venue, we saw a house at the end of a driveway up a little hill. Hubby decided to drive up there and ask if we could pay him to park at his house. He said sure we could park there, but refused the money we offered. When the concert was over, we just walked the 1/2 mile back to the car and didn't get caught in the back up of folks all trying to leave at the same time. It was SCHWEET!
Our W looks awesome, as usual ... bathed in God's grace and the peace that truly passes all understanding. LOVE the pics with the troops.
Back from knee replacement surgery, and I SO SO SO appreciate all the prayers and good thoughts from my FRiends.
Unfortunately, it was not without complications. The evening after surgery, I suddenly felt claustrophobic, panicky and breathless. They immediately put me on oxygen, and soon thereafter a CAT scan revealed a pulmonary embolism. Damn .. that was a fear of mine, too, and one reason I was so very hesitant to stop my daily baby aspirin dose.
But, the comprehensive report from a Lancet article stating that the risk of stopping it and having a stroke, blood clot, etc. was higher than the risk of bleeding by not stopping didn't go over well with my doc. He thought it was "controversial," so I reluctantly stopped taking it 10 days prior to surgery.
To say I'm grateful to be alive would be an understatement, and just how much I know your prayers helped me. I thank God dearly for His mercy. Just last week a friend of my son's girlfriend .. a lot younger than I .. had knee replacement surgery and died in her sleep of a clot.
Will be on blood thinner for 6 months, understandably will have pain for awhile, several weeks of therapy torture and pushing myself to do those excruciating exercises .. LOL (those therapists are something else ;), and struggles getting my socks on, etc., but I'm really walking so well .. barely need the walker. My knee is really strong and stable, praise the Lord.
It's so important that this Dose remains the sane and safe harbor it's always been. Thanks to the Mods and all who work to keep it free of the nastiness and dissension so prevalent everywhere else.
Good evening - thanks for the dose - sorry I was up a bit late
LOVE the featured photo!!!

YOU WILL FIND AN EXCELLENT ARTICLE DESCRIBING THE PRESIDENT’S TRIP TO KANSAS HERE:
Excerpt:
“Not the usual campaign stuff, but telling us what it’s like to be president, how you have to make decisions, one of the lines that got the most applause was one where he said I’m not interested in being the most popular I’m interested in being right,” Mike Kiegerl, Olathe resident, said.

Hubby and I are off for a late dinner . . . until tomorrow!
I’ve been waiting for word of your recovery, and I’m glad the scary part is over for you. I’ll be praying that the rehabilitation is easier than you expect. Thanks for telling us.
Here’s praying for a complete and QUICK recovery . . . And, yes, thank God the embolism was discovered and treated!!
I described it as mass hysteria, being fed by the media, and just said I'd had a belly full of the nonsense. Boy did I drive em nuts. But I didn't back down, and there were even a few who said they realized what I was saying was right. I even got a freepmail from one lady who thanked me for standing up for the President. Made me feel good, I can tell you!
So glad to hear the surgery was successful and you’re still kicking, in a manner of speaking.;o)
LOL
