Hi, Snugs :)
I know ... they must live for situations like this. Like someone else on the thread said, it must be like porn to them.
Before this, they were screaming about the port deal and before that, Katrina. It never ends.
My pleasure! Thank you :)

***...those who call the President disrespectful names and come up with crazy conspiracy theories.***
There was one last evening who said that we had to find out who’s advising the President, and then we’d know who America’s enemy is. Talk about conspiracy theories. I told him, “Isn’t it amazing how easy it is to start rumors?”
So far, he hasn’t replied. I suppose he’s so busy jumping from thread to thread spreading his poisin that he hasn’t had time to respond.
The best one though is
“An insult from a certified Bushbot like Snugs is actually a compliment for the rest of us who use our brains.”
***An insult from a certified Bushbot like Snugs is actually a compliment for the rest of us who use our brains.***
Yep, that’s just the sort of childish thing they say. It’s the equivalent of “My dad can beat up your dad,” except they use 6th grade words like “certified.”
I do notice that there are a lot less posters citing their “information” and I rarely see anyone asking for a citation. In other words, they aren’t here to discuss, but to hector and annoy.
Very disingenuous.
President Bush hasn’t changed — he’s the most CONSISTENT, principled leader I’ve ever had the pleasure to observe and support! . . . It’s SOME (a minority) of those who once supported him that have changed — a combination of short memories, intellectual hypocrisy, and political malleability — after all, if one of those ‘super smart’ radio personalities says the President is wrong, then ‘by golly’ he must be . . . GAG!

I’ve reviewed a lot of the polls taken and major commentaries written during Reagan’s second term — the ‘conservative’ purists deserted him as well, lead by none other than Bill Buckley and the National Review crowd . . . history really does have a way of repeating itself!! . . . Fortunately for Reagan, he didn’t have to contend with a 24/7 media cycle, cable ‘news’ channels, and the ‘blogosphere’, all of which have exposed President Bush to unprecedented and unrelenting analysis/criticism . . . Despite the constant scrutiny, however, President Bush still polls in the 30s with 70%ish support from Republicans — Truman would have LOVED such numbers after WWII and during the Korean War!!
Guenevere, if you want to insult someone it’s best not to do it on their home territory. Snugs is greatly loved and appreciated here.
How anyone could make a rude remark about Snugs who is a gem says more about herself than about Snugs.
