Former logistics officer in the Sarajevo-Romanija Corps Zoran Samardzic claims that the BH Army divided the city in two and that the non-Serbs were not expelled from Hadzici. He knows nothing about the expulsions, detentions and torture because as he put it, he was a logistics officer a nobody
Zoran Samardzic, former logistics officer in the VRS Sarajevo-Romanija Corps, testified at the trial of General Dragomir Milosevic as a defense witness. He claims that the BH Army divided Sarajevo in two, when it took the hills of Mojmilo and Zuc in May and June 1992. At the time, the witness lived in Hadzici, and he suddenly found himself in a situation he couldnt comprehend: Now they were Sarajevo, and we werent.
Hadzici, Grbavica, Ilijas, Dobrinja, Nedzarici, Ilidza, Vogosca and other parts of Sarajevo were thus encircled by the BH Army. According to Milosevics defense counsel Tapuskovic, this in effect meant that everyone was under siege in Sarajevo, in particular those who lived in the area controlled by the Republika Srpska Army.
In the examination-in-chief, Samardzic said that his thirteen-year-old son and his eleven-year-old friend had been killed in the BH Army shelling of Hadzici.
Samardzic believes that no non-Serbs were expelled from Hadzici. Before the war, 70 percent of the population in Hadzici municipality was Muslim. According to this witness, they all left of their own free will. Serbs were taken aback and astonished, he said.
In the cross-examination, the witness claimed that he had known nothing about an SDS ultimatum issued on 7 May 1992, asking the Muslims to leave Hadzici. He knows nothing about the detention and torture of non-Serb civilians in the sports centre and the underground garage in the municipal building, and in eight other locations in Hadzici the prosecutor mentioned. He knows nothing about any presence of JNA troops in Hadzici at the outset of the war. He doesnt know that because throughout that time, he was in his workplace, in the kitchen of the Repairs Centre. He was working there at the beginning of the war.
The kitchen remains the focus of his interest as the war unfolded: in the Sarajevo-Romanija Corps, he was in charge of providing meals for the troops. I was a logistics officers I was a nobody, the witness said.
If you can't see the similarities between the actions of various Serb paramilitaries and those of the sonderkommando, that's your problem, not mine, and gets back to what I said earlier about Serbs suffering from "See no evil" syndrome.
So did the Croats.
Anyway, your analogy reaches nothing to the level of the comparison that you want to make to such individuals as:
Hitler, Goebbles, Himmler, Heydrich, Hess, Goering, Eichmann, Bormann, Keitel, von Ribbentrop, Mengele, Donitz, Hans Frank,...
Would you like to continue...but, no, you already know.
One of Timothy McVeigh's big influences was the writer of the "The Turner Diaries" and "Serpents Walk" , William Pierce , who spoke of how to reintroduce Nazi ideology.
Nice and slowly. It was exactly what we see here. With comparisons the lessen the Nazi's terrible crimes.
Those utterly fatuous comparisons.
So ridiculous, yet so easily tossed into any discussion.
"WOW!The Nazis weren't that bad after all. SEE? The VRS are comparable to the Nazis and the VRSs' biggest supporters were Israel, so that makes Israel........"
It's that simple folks.
Another post, another straw-man.
If you're going to take issue with what I post, then do so, rather than taking issue with what you wish I had said.
[”If you’re going to take issue with what I post, then do so...”]
I did.
And, “if you don’t like it - Good.”
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery - guess that hit the mark, didn't it.
All you've got here is an attempt to transmogrify my statements into something they're not - a direct comparison to the Nazi's campaign of genocide against the Jews.
Doesn't matter. At the end of the day, the membership roster for "Genocide 'R' Us" remains the same - you've got about as much chance of carrying the day as a Hutu who points to a lack of the same paraphernalia you pointed out and declares - "No zyklon B, no gas chambers, no crematoria: No genocide!"
In the end, you're just not as smart as you think you are, LR, and your arguments reflect that.
You’re also an expert spin doctor too.
How's that for flattery.
Underwhelming.
As to be expected, considering the source.
At this point I consider Hoplite to be the wobbly Male version (I think he is) of Maddie Nnonetoobright: a jilted lover—some Serbian lovely broke his heart and now he’s taking his frustrations out on all Serb people.
Like Maddie or even maybe like Woody Allen...although Woody has never supported butchers like hoppie-helot. He does have a problem with marrying his step daughter though???
As to be expected, considering the source.”]
Of course your the source. That is, you took my words and ‘spinned’ them right out context; No zyklon B, no gas chambers, no crematoria: No genocide!
Do me a favor. If you want to make the kind of historical analogies that you like to do, then turn ‘the guns on your ship’ against the likes of Pol Pot and Khmer Rouge.
I'll be more than happy to listen.
Suprised you have been missing at your Favourite KOSOVO posts !!!!
Do I detect a sense of defeatness in your silence knowing the KLA terrorists wont get what they wanted ????
I say again, you’re just not as smart as you think you are, LR, and your arguments reflect that.
No. You detect a sense of the inevitableness but are too obtuseness to discern it.
Yes, I know...but at least I’m smart enough to realize it.
The problem with you is that you simply can’t tell the difference between, say, 100,000 dead in Bosnia and Millions upon Millions murdered by the Nazis...Now how dumb can one be??
Try and spin the numbers Hoplite.
I say again, you’re the expert spin doctor.
And you can't understand simple written English, as I've already dealt with your straw-man argument.
[”And you can’t understand simple written English, as I’ve already dealt with your straw-man argument.”]
Okay fine. If you want to minimize the Holocaust with your analogy, then be my guest.
At least I’m smart enough to know where you stand.
Alas, you're demonstrably not smart enough to know where I stand - I refer you back to post #26.
Thanks for letting me revisit #26.
Hoplite, #26 does not explain your “stance.” In fact, what you did there was FALSELY accuse me of “an attempt to transmogrify [your] statements...”
Further, you next GROSSLY took my words out of context from a previous post by stating:
[
you’ve got about as much chance of carrying the day as a Hutu who points to a lack of the same paraphernalia you pointed out and declares - “No zyklon B, no gas chambers, no crematoria: No genocide!” ]
In short, what you did in #26 is demonstrate just how disingenuous you can be.
You're just a waste of time.
Good you gave up.
I’d ask for few things in the future, (a) don’t spin my words, (b) don’t make erroneous accusations, and (c) don’t answer me back.
I hope I’m not asking for too much.
