Laura interviewed Tony Snow in the last hour of her show. In fact, she devoted the whole hour to illegal immigration. After her no holds barred interview with Tony (she wiped the floor with him!), she took phone calls and read emails that were generated in reaction to the interview.

Sure there's no need to be passionate about the sell out of our country. We'll just all join hands and quietly watch our country be sold out from under us.

It is this chain migration along with illegal immigration that is destroying our way of life, our country, and the last hope for freedom, America. Anyone that supports continuing the chain migration started by LBJ and Ted kennedy deserves condemnation.

I agree! I always thought Tony Snow was very boring, but I got used to him from his days as a sub for Rush Limbaugh. Maybe this subbing was what drew conservatives to him.

Politics is a hardball game, and Snow knew that going into his job. I’m serious, it’s a blood sport, and if *I* know it, Tony knows about it all the more.
If he has integrity, he’ll go, but I’m betting that he won’t.
Why would Fred the Savior vote one way one year and vote another way the next? PAC money?
I don’t think it’s that he doesn’t understand; he’s doing his job. Unfortunately for us, no one in Washington seems to give a rat’s butt what the 85% of us want- they’re too busy kow-towing to illegal immigrants. This only makes me wonder how soon it’ll be before we see legislation allowing illegals to vote.

No, Tony does get it, in fact he is a true believer. On his radio show is out and front with his views and they mirror this legislation.
I think she did a great job of staying focused, and she let him talk. She made all her points that she makes every day on her show, and she had a limited amount of time in which to make them. Bearing this in mind, I think she really beat him up but good.

I don’t know which surprised me more this week, hearing Harry Reid call illegal aliens ‘undocumented Americans’ or the fact the President didn’t say it first....(shudder)
Why the President attacks us viciously, but refuses to respond to the Dems that want to destroy him and his administration in the same manner is something I’ll never understand.

The candidate that takes the absolute opposing position on this Senate “deal” will get a ton of support...
Somehow I seriously doubt a strong opposition will come from the left...
So this leaves it wide open for the conservatives in the race...
This is why I believe the so-called second tier of candidates are going to come on strong on what the people want a leader to do about this issue...
No, I meant it the way I said it. If the bill is passed they automatically become legal right then. The fines are only assessed if they choose to become citizens.
As the President's Press Secretary, it is Tony's job to articulate the President's views not his own.
