We cannot rest on this one! But, we still need to remember that our prayers are heard by a God who understands, so let’s also not forget to pray.

‘I asked my source to speculate on why Lott was pushing so hard, and he said that Lott may be naive enough to think that this bill might help John McCain’s presidential campaign. He told me that despite McCain’s dip in the polls since the bill hit the news, it was hard to miss the fact that the biggest supporters of this bill in the Senate, Jon Kyl, Trent Lott, and Lindsey Graham, are all solidly behind McCain in ‘08. ‘
Trent Lott is simply a moron. This is the guy that spent decades trying to reinstate Jefferson Davis’s citizenship, against the expressed wishes of Jefferson Davis himself.
Think about that for a moment.....

In other words, if the bill gets through the Senate and the House, the Democrats and the open borders Republicans will work together when the bills have to be reconciled in committee to strip out any amendments that the "grand bargainers" don't like. Therefore, at this point, it doesn't matter what amendments pass, because any tough enforcement provisions that slip through will be rendered toothless when the bills are reconciled.Arrogant bastards!

If it can be killed in the House then this will be a great campaign tool for the Republicans. States like Washington and Oregon and other rust belt states with Dem Senators who vote for this will be very vulnerable I think.
Republican Senators who vote for this may lose their seat in the primaries, which is good, or in the general, which may balance out in the end. In other word we could pick up seats in borderline states like Washington and Oregon but lose seats in SC or Arizona. Either way the amnesty ideas will be one the new Senate will shun.

Soon the pledge will be as follows:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the North American Union, and to the Corporate Monarchy for which it stands. One union, under Royals, with liberty and justice for your station in life.

Jim Quinn of Quinn and Rose in the morning has a regular caller who is a Republican consultant. He reported this a.m. that the separate Senate Bill they have been talking about to fund the fence and other border security measures to try to mollify conservatives into thinking that the open borders crowd really intends to do something besides amnesty, is nothing but a big fat porker stuffed with every Senator's "wish list" of pork projects. They want the pork funding in a separate bill just in case the amnesty bill dies again and by calling it border security funding, most of the pseudo-conservatives can vote for it without taking flak from their constituents.
Aren't they clever? No end to how low they will go to try to fool us.

I am so furious about this. We are being governed by a group of dictators working in the backroom! I'm fed up. I've been calling and faxing senators this morning. I finally got through Brownback's phone, but Lott is taking faxes and neither is Cornyn. I can't through on any of Cornyn's phones either...they are busy or has a message to call back later, can't even leave a message.
I am furious, I can't state that enough.

How can we stop this nonsense? Already, Lott’s comments have leaked out and I would think could poison all this. We need to hit the phones of those who think they can vote an amendment they already know will be stripped out in conference.

Fred Barnes, give me a break, who cares what that idiot thinks? We're going to destroy the country because Fred Barnes with an IQ of 80 might not say nice things about us. That is so naive that none of these clowns have any business being in government if that's how they operate.
