Senate conservatives have been warned by Republican leaders that they must either accept a series of largely symbolic floor votes on a handful of amendments to the immigration reform legislation or see themselves shut out of the process altogether when the chamber resumes work on the bill later this year, GOP lawmakers and aides said Tuesday...

Most of our presidents have been Illuminati. Wonder if Bush is. They believe in ONE world order. I know his daddy sure did. Scared the heck out of me when he was in office with that kind of talk.

If this bill passes, I will end my support for the GOP once and for all.
I mean what I say, I will vote 3rd party or not at all.
I have already stopped contributing to the RNC.

I just called the Chairman’s Office at the RNC.
Very nice young woman fielded my call and appeared to either be totally ignorant or so blase as to give Cole Porter a subject for a new song (I know he is dead).
I told her that I was a long time republican and that I was very unhappy with the Illegal Alien Amnesty Bill and to tell Martinez that. She seemed to come back from a day dream and said, “Okie dokie”. Okie dokie?? So there is NO doubt that the RNC does not care and seems to be imploding, as it's base evaporates.
Gimme an effin’ break.

1. He thinks that if we close Mexico’s relief valve, its gonna blow and we’ll have a Cuba / Venezuela on on Southern Border and Refugees.
2. He thinks that Social Security is in trouble and that, if he can’t privatize it, he might keep it goin’ a little longer with contributions from newly legalized workers.
Both of ‘em BS reasons to bankrupt taxpayers, create an insurgency in the US, and destroy our sovereignty, but there ya go.
Never assume President Bush is stupid. He has always done what he said he was going to do.

I read-quote-"Every year our two borders experience 500 million border crossings."unquote Could someone please explain to me how the hell that number of people can be tracked going back and forth?
Know our government, they count the number of legs then divide by two and then add five percent. That explains all the slack jaw folks at customs.

Listen up Senators I will NEVER, NOT EVER surrender my country to lawbreaking aliens! This American citizen's vote will NOT be wasted on even a single one of you traitors who votes to compromise!
Because people who break the law are lawbreakers; there's no skipping around this to try and view this some other way. People who would present themselves upon our shores and borders, intent upon "seeking a better life" but whose very first steps upon our soil are made or have been made illegally, should only receive one freebie from our nation, and that is *** a one way deportation *** from whence they came.
NO "Anchor Babies,"
NO free education,
NO amnesty,
NO WAY!

Gee, it would have been nice if Bush had used such tough tactics when dealing with the Democrats in congress from 200-2006. I guess the "new tone" only extends to liberals, not conservatives.
I'm done with this lame-duck. Give me a spring chicken!

He's not at all ill.
Not to favor Jeb's wife, but try; "the globalists who got him the gig", and then it all makes sense.

Gee have the Sopranos send their "enforcers" to act for the GOP mob bosses and Don Georgeo Bush?
Are they warning conservatives with death and dismemberment of them and their families unless they smile and vote yes to give Amnesty to more than 12 Million MEXICANS for the GOP-afia?

Your story would be great on Levin’s show or Hannity’s show. We need to expose the leadership for the incompetents they’ve become. And, I might add, these are the people soliciting our money. They can’t even hire administrative staff whose brain cells are working. Someone should get through to the “Chairman” for his explanation and/or comments. Anyone game for trying?

GOP = Whig
Whatever they are, these elitists are not Republicans. They are still the same Federalists with the same goals,i.e. having the country ruled by a well-educated elite.
Although, here is an interesting historical tidbit - The Whig party was ultimately destroyed by the question of whether to allow the expansion of slavery to the territories.

Becoming part of the USA the proper way:
Mexican states should break from Mexican Republic, then petition our Congress to enter our Republic. It would require the new states to construct state constitutions that abide to the Constitution of the United States of America.
It took a former Mexican territory, Texas, years to win acceptance into our nation, but it is a proper course to American citizenship and acceptance.

Largely symbolic? Try
useless! Lott said openly in a Washington Times article today he'll pull any amendments that pass from the bill in conference committee:
One key question is how to go forward even though several amendments have already cut at the grand bargain -- including limiting the guest-worker program and making it easier to deport those who don't qualify for legalization -- and several other difficult amendments could pass before the bill is final.
Senate Minority Whip Trent Lott, Mississippi Republican, said those amendments will simply disappear when the House and Senate go to conference.
"No big deal -- you pitch those before you get to the Rotunda," he said.
But that is just what those who oppose the bill fear.
"I'm really disturbed Trent Lott would say: accept an amendment, he'll pitch it in conference," Mr. Sessions said. "Whose side is he on?"
Look at link for the whole article, the amendments are sucker bait, even if they pass Lott say's he'll take them out.
