If you saw the June 12th edition of Special Report with Brit Hume, was your stomach not turning? Fred Barnes, Mara Liasson, and Mort Kondrake engaged in a pitiful love fest in praise of no one other than Teddy Kennedy. Sadly, Fox News seems to be always reminding us of their commitment to fair and balanced, but when it comes to amnesty it is difficult to find any commentators taking the other side of amnesty on any of their programming. So it was on this edition, we saw nothing but high praise for Teddy Kennedy, the infamous one, known in real conservative circles as the who likes to takes political groupies swimming in Oldsmobiles. Fred Barnes said twice that Kennedy could be trusted. Sure Fred, most of the conservatives that I know trust Teddy Kennedy but not in the way you described, the conservatives I know always trust Kennedy to sell this county out in any way possible. If one was watching Lou Dobbs on CNN, then you saw at the same time some radio commentators who were so anonymous but to be anything but "All-Stars". They were from liberal geographies and backgrounds and one admitted to being a host on Air America, but as liberal as their credentials were, all were opposed to amnesty in every way shape and form. Fox News has prospered because liberals have made them the bogeyman of cable news, but that myth is being exposed. You will NEVER hear a more concerted higher praise for the epitome of treacherous liberalism on CNN or MSNBC than you heard on Fox News tonight. While Lou Dobbs is giving America liberals who oppose amnesty, Fox News is giving us pro-amnesty served up 24/7 by all and everyone, whether they label them conservative or liberal.

I am afraid it was more in the form of hero worship than eulogy.
“Fair and Balanced” usually means half the people Fox has on are lying through their teeth.
Like Ann Coulter says; (to paraphrase)
“No crime is 100% enforceable. You will never catch all the rapists, killers, thieves, so why aren`t they given amnesty?”
That has to be the greatest argument I`ve ever read when it comes to this whole illegal immigration deal. “We can`t catch all the crooks, so let`s give them amnesty.” It`s freggin` nuts! And if anyone doesn`t think illegals aren`t a grave danger to this country need only consider the threat of terror. Of all things to grant amnesty to! “They want to kill all Americans so let`s make it easier for them!”
Fox News is a joke, and a poorly produced one at that. Anyone still tuning into FNS because they think they’re the ‘conserative’ choice has been duped. FNS has insulted my intelligence for the last time. I no longer watch it at all.
Mort and Mara I understand, but Fred Barnes should move away from the DC area, it is starting to infect him and he may turn into a rino.
FOX supports some Republican ideals, unfortuneatly it’s the “Rockefeller Republicans” and not the Conservative base Republicans.

No, these Democrats *always* play politics. And that is exactly what they are doing now with this issue.
Coulter's question is a good one, but I think it gets answered differently by each party. Democrats would answer "Not a problem, we have already given amnesty to a serial rapist who was Rapist-in-Chief." Amnesty for everyone.
The pro-amnesty Republicans who make up the Teddy Kennedy wing of the Republican Party would answer more hypocritically, saying "Anyone who serves corporate America is not doing anything illegal." That kind of idiotic logic allowed Time-Warner to do something that got them a BILLION dollar fine while no crime was committed and no one went to jail.
Fat boy is a murderer and a communist. He deserves to get his fat butt thrown in jail.

I was stunned at the panel’s view of the Swimmer. I’m wondering when they will have Mary Jo’s family present their opinion of him. Fair and balanced? I think not.
When I was watching, I took their comments to be laughing at the various pubbies sucking up to kennedy, not approving of it, (’cept maybe Mara).
