This is not about Republican or Democrat Party politics. It is about the Republic and the Rule of Law.

Secure our borders, especially the southern border and then come to “We the People” with some viable solutions on how to deal with the millions of illegal aliens who violated U.S. codified law to get here in the first place. The survival of “our Republic” is what is at stake. Please don’t let Party politics get in the way of doing your oath-sworn duty.

Bush acknowledged the bill that would legalize millions of unlawful immigrants

And that is amnesty.

Finally, some truth coming out of the Bush White House.

Bush did not twist arms, but also failed to win new support during the luncheon

Okay. Now, let's bury this thing. Maybe after the election we can revisit the problem -- when we get another president in office.

He has staffers that read all these threads.

Are they the ones that post comments calling us "knuckle draggers," telling us to "shut up" etc., etc?

All about "Big Business" is what I got from it. Always thought this. Now you have given us a valuable link that proves it. Thanks.

From the 2006 Report to Leaders -

"To enhance the competitive position of North American firms ..."

"Ongoing liberalization of rules of origin is helping to improve the competitiveness of our industries by reducing transaction costs, facilitating the cross-border trade of goods, and making it easier for exporters to qualify for duty free treatment. In May, our three countries agreed to a third round of changes affecting over $30 billion in trilateral trade with an implementation goal of 2007."

There is much more involved including "security" but it is all leading to the "North American Union", despite their claims to the contrary.

The 2006 Report to Leaders - Click Here should be a must read as well as all of this SPP plan.

Thank you. We get so mired in "party politics" these days that we tend to loose sight of the "big picture".

It really is sad that our representatives don't even attempt to hide their belief that they are our "rulers".

Of course, we the people, let all this happen, feet kicked up in our easy chairs, sipping a brew and watching Archie Bunker.

I am really afraid the "train has already left the station" where "the Repubic" is concerned.

Ben Franklin told us a long time ago, the odds were high that we could mess up this great experiment in government "of and by the people".

The powers that be at FR can, in fact, see where the messages originate. I suspect that some of the people we see coming in here with that sort of nonsense are not banned simply because they work at the White House.

How sad it is to see the President that stood tall in the days
following 9-11...

...become a SHILL for identity thieves and violators of our immigration law.

That’s right.

It’s Bush who’s being emotional. He may sound calmer, but his position is based on emotion. We often sound very angry, and we are, but that doesn’t weaken the logical basis for our views.

Here is the amnesty that Americans can go for: “You have amnesty for 20 days to pedal your illegal alien ass out of the US or we are coming to deport you and forever bar you from entering the US. And we’re taking the property you bought while ILLEGALLY working in the US, too.

Jimmy Carter and W are reflections of each other. One’s a Dem one’s a Republican. One was a disaster with foreign policy, one’s a disaster with domestic policy.

We’re lucky about SCOTUS appointments, though. Have to admit that.

He only gets partial credit for those, however. We almost has Miers.

I don’t think we “almost had Miers”. She was going up in flames on both sides of the ailes. That’s why he withdrew her after he called all of us who didn’t like her sexists (or whatever he said).

He believes in open borders. He always has. His open Borders policy has caused my checking account to have a Closed Republican donation policy!

Okay. Now, let's bury this thing. Maybe after the election we can revisit the problem -- when we get another president in office.

The absolute best route for conservatives is that there be NO "immigration reform" bill.

This is an issue that needs to be reserved for the 2008 Presidential campaign and Congressional elections.

If we prevail, as I imagine we will, then the new President and the new Congress can write a bill that more accurately reflects the views of the nation.

"...What is everybody or anybody’s best guess why he is DOING this?..."

Well, it got the Middle-East off the front page. He could bomb Iran now, and nobody would notice for a few days.

That'd be OK with me .................. FRegards

Its like asking the questions, “Do you live in town or ride a bicycle?” Or, “Do you walk to school or carry your lunch.”

The two things have no connection. One can be down without the other.
