If one cannot learn reasonable English in 12 years, one really should not be working and living in America's advanced technological society.
Most people can learn at least the rudiments of any foreign language (especially if they LIVE in that culture) in a month or two, or even less.
There are hundreds of resources for people to learn English, and some of the very best are free and/or online.

They are not immigrants...immigrants come here LEGALLY...
The term immigrant conjures up the appearance of legality.. and everything pertaining to lawful entrance into our country...
Most people dont know what is included in the requirements for immigration...they dont know that in the provisions of the AMNESTY Bill, the illegal aliens are not required to meet any of the prerequisites mandated by law...
1) This is NOT amnesty.
2) We need to pass this bill in order to protect our borders.
3) Those who oppose this bill are xenophobes, bigots, and unpatriotic.

When you posted this comment did you realize how many people, who are on the receiving end of government programs, would resist these restrictions on our federal government?
Having acclimated themselves into this now dependent lifestyle, where the need for self reliance only cost them a few personal rights, they are now once again comfortable.

I think the plan is that in 12 years US citizenship won’t be a necessity to live, work or vote in the NAU. I think that the prinary issue in Washington is not to anger the people so much that we refuse to pay any and all taxes.

Your time line is correct, but your warning of doom is understated. This isn’t going to be a simple morphing of the US...it will be a devastation of the culture, the economy, and could eventually will lead us to armed conflict within our boundaries.
