I was watching Extreme Makeover on ABC and Mcdonald's had a commercial come on. At the end of the commercial they had something over their logo that looked odd. Does anyone know what these stars and moon mean?

It just means “we’re open late” Alot of places use some sort of logo like that on signs and stuff saying we’re open later. A crescent moon and one star is the Islamic symbol, I believe. Good screen capture, by the way.

I tried to see if it was some standard advertising thing for "midnight or later" but could find no reference to that. The logo does not seem to be on any McDonald's web site either.
