The main compliment of riders will be veterans of all branches of our military who are fed up with the way the Marine Corps and the political community are treating the Marines, mainly the men of Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, the Thundering Third.
These Marines fought in Haditha and returned home the champions that they are, only to find themselves indicted on charges from murder to cover-up.
These charges have stemmed from an incorrect article in Time magazine, as well as some politicians who seem to have jumped to conclusions without stopping to get facts.
The facts were brought forth by men, such as a Bronze Star winning Intelligence Officer who viewed the whole incident by unmanned camera aircraft and accumulated log books and reams of data that exonerates all the Marines of K/3/1. This evidence seems to be pushed aside by the politically motivated opportunists.
The question now arises for the parents and family of military individuals on deployment in Iraq...
That is politically incorrect!
The veterans of the past and family of current military are not going to stand for it.
On Saturday morning, June 23, 2007 at 8AM veterans from the Northwest will meet at the South Center Mall in Tukwila, Washington, and prepare to depart at 9AM for destination Main Gate, Camp Pendleton.
We plan to arrive sometime Thursday, June 28th.
We dont intend to block traffic of cause any discomfort whatsoever to other Americans. We fought for their rights, too and we intend to make their day, not wreck their day.
At this late date it is realized that some who would want to go, but cant, may want to ride a short distance to show theyre support. Our colors will be Old Glory, the Stars and Strips will fly from the back of each motorcycle.
Some of the riding veterans will carry a container for donations to be given to the Defense Fund upon arrival at Camp Pendleton.
This ride is open to every American who wants to support our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Those who dont have motorcycles or cant ride will want to go to the overpasses near their homes and wave flags as the motorcycles travel down Interstate 5.
Normal regrouping locations will be the numerous Rest Stops along the way. We will ride daylight hours only, because our intentions are visibility to American Citizens, so that we may all show support together.
Veterans and military family members from other parts of the country who want to participate may want to meet the ride at some location on Interstate 5 that is more convenient to their location. This ride is spontaneous and is designed to meet every Americans desire to show support to our military heroes.
We want No Man Left Behind.
This thread will be updated with itinerary and progress reports so you can join the ride as it passes through your community or just give them your support!

I have passed it on Red Rover.
Fabulous, ticked. Blue Stars are arising.
Yes they ARE!!!!!
Thanks for the ping.
BTTT
Ain’t it, though!
And everywhere else! Red : )
My allergies kicked up when I read about it.
Support our troops and our veterans!
BUMP for the Good Guys!
Semper Fi!
Expose Turda for the Al Queda agent that he is.
Pray for W and Our Marines
I wish I could ride with them...
Agree with your thoughts on placement relative to the two brothers.
If your going to up from the ranks to officer, the Marine Corps is the service to be in. The rest require a ring from their trade school.
Hope the ride is a BIG success.
Thanks, bro! It’s taking shape nicely and will be a great event.
Tenatively, we look for Saturday (June 23rd) in Washington and north Oregon.
We plan Sunday (June 24th) in Oregon to maybe Medford, and Monday (June 25th) to maybe Redding. Then probably to Stockton on Tuesday (June 26th) and from there around Bakersfield on Wednesday (June 27th) and south through LA. There we will pick up the Gathering Eagle's California Car to lead us in to Oceanside on Thursday early afternoon. There room is being arranged for us near and in view of the main gate Camp Pendleton.
My wife is going by car from Seattle to Portland on Saturday, then back home. There is room for everyone to ride 100 miles or 10 miles, wave a flag, or give a dollar. It's our time for doing what we have been quietly wondering what we can do to SUPPORT for our Marines.
I believe that this relay type ride is going to start a trend of support for our military that could change the views of many politicians. It affords an opportunity for the Silent American to add their voice without being placed into a category and easily discounted.
If I may get personal for a moment: my eldest son, Capt. Jeff Dinsmore (3/1 Marines) called me immediately after his people were charged in December 2006. He asked Dad what he should do.
I said, "You know what you have got to do, you are a Marine." But I asked, " Do you understand what it will cost you?" He said, "Yes, probably my career."
He said, "We went over there together as Marines, we watched each other's backs like Marines, we were ready to take a hit for each other, because we are Marines. If I had taken that hit for any of them it would have wrecked my career." he said, "They are innocent and I can prove it, and I'm a Marine and I will leave no man behind."
Now WE need to show America that we won't leave those who gave us our freedom behind either, it's our priority.
Next to the I-5 freeway near your home, gather friends and family and various clubs and have a barbeque, music, and a lot of fun supporting the "No Man Left Behind" motorcycle ride. Wave a lot of flags and watch for OLD Glory to come from the north. This is a ride for everybody, not just the riders. We will break to the exit with bank bags given to us for collecting donations for the Military Combat Defense Fund. A Rep from that organization will be at Main Gate Camp Pendleton to receive your money when we arrive. The donations will go from your heart to the Defense Fund set up to be divided among all the defendant Marines, every dime.
Bump and ping — see post 57 Spirit.
