ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Annapolis police raided the wrong apartment Wednesday night, using flash grenades and kicking a resident in the groin before they realized their mistake, police and the family said.

Police spokesman Hal Dalton said something must have gone amiss in the briefing beforehand. "We don't know how the mistake was made," Dalton said.

I bet I know how the mistake was made, spokeshole Dalton. It was made because you are an unacountable collection of thugs that spent the rest of the evening drinking beer and laughing about the look on Mrs. Bernal's face while you were kicking her husband.

I’m not usually for big jury awards, but I hope they sue the cops and win big. Not likely, but I hope so, and I hope it comes from the cops own pocket. Even less likely.

Silvia Bernal

How many posts until someone questions Silvia's status as a US citizen?

BTW-Even is Silvia Bernal is an illegal alien, it does not give the police the right to kick in her door for no reason.

An Alabama State Trooper pulls over a yankee who was speeding on a back highway.

The guy steps out of the car and says, “Sir, I know I was speeding, how about letting me off with a warning?”

The Trooper thinks for a minute, kicks the guy in the balls, and says, “Thar’s yer warnin’”.

And exactly WHAT justified using flash grenades in executing a search/arrest warrant? What's next, going in with flame throwers? "OOPS...wrong address. We'll call the Fire Department for you. Have a nice day..."

When officers and the city's tactical squad went to the right unit, they said it was empty.

Seems like about one of these a month is making the press before they can be covered up. I wonder how many there actually are?

“I’m not usually for big jury awards, but I hope they sue the cops and win big.”

Can’t be done. Agents of the state have immunity and cannot be individually sued. You might be able to sue the department but only if you can prove a pattern that suggests training issues.

They have them...all the justification they need.

Dalton said they were supposed to have raided a different apartment and said the incident was regrettable.

I am guessing the police tipped off the people in the apartment that they were supposed to raid.

I believe most people will tell you the Constitution only applies to US citizens who have no overdue library books and mow their grass at least once every 2 weeks.

D'OH Alert. Just cops who couldn't find the right address. Oops, sorry about that kick in the groin.
