Somebody needs to tell Putin the Soviet Union no longer exists, and with its demise went his country’s ability to dictate anything to America.
Putin likes US ABMs in Turkey. Remember the Cuban missile crisis? This is different, of course.
“We reserve the right to nuke Western Europe without U.S. interference” - Vlad
Note to Putin. Eastern Europe isn’t your little bitch anymore.
Both Iraq and Turkey are too close for the midcourse interceptors. Sea base is possible if it is the Black Sea (still to close) or the Baltic.
Didn’t Vladie recently release a statement tell Bush to butt out of Russian affairs?
of the moonbats will be overjoyed at the idea of interceptor bases in Iraq. Perfect place for them BTW to take out boost phase Iranian missiles. Then again, it might be easier to just destroy Iranian facilities now.
—”Now leave us in peace and give us time to answer,” he said in German.—
Hmmm, he speaks German but never bothered to learn English?
This is a step forward. At least he’s willing to discuss it and is offering alternatives. We’ll just have to see how sincere he is, however.
How are our relations with Finland?
Astounding arrogance. This may be drawing Putin’s “jumping the shark” peak.
You’ll notice that all of Putin’s “Suggestions” are places that can easily be taken out by Spetznaz forces??
Of course, it will be “Local Terrorists”, or an “Accident at sea”..
Sorry Mr. Putin, but in the interests of democracy let’s let Poland and the other eastern European nations decide for themselves if they want the missile shield.

He speaks English as well.

Maybe we should just build giant sea bases in the Black Sea and the Baltic. I’m sure he’d LOVE that.
I mean Putin speaks English also. I don’t mean to imply he speaks it as fluently as he does German.
Regretably, Turkey proved that they are no longer our allies. Putting the missiles in Turkey would be a very risky thing to do, if there were a crisis with Iran or Pakistan or some other country with newly developed nukes.
There is a considerable risk that they would refuse to let us use them in self defense. The Turks proved that when they strung us along and then stabbed us in the back during the the lead up to the invasion of Iraq.
You are joking. When was the last time they laid siege to Vienna? It's over; Turkey is practically Euro now. Coca-Cola forever and we own their film industry.
