Both the President and Barbara Bush were diagnosed with Graves disease, IIRC.

To: The Spirit Of Allegiance

“Amen except to your last line, for we Citizens are responsible to not bury our talents but to act as diligent stewards, including careful watch over those hired in our service and sworn thereto.”

It is true - and He who calls us to that responsibility is our only Authority. In this lies the true meaning of Freedom: we are responsible to God alone! For when we are responsible to God, we will be responsible to man as well in accordance to all the Holy Commandments...

Whether one is the voice of the exhorter, or the voice of the encourager, both are given as examples of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. And both, when called upon, must be ready to serve, whether in political forums or on the street, or in the voting booth; the Citizen Exhorter AND the Citizen Encourager, when responsible to Christ, will do their duty to the fullest extent.

But therein lies the SOURCE of our responsibility: if we are answerable to Christ, then we will strive to do all that is required of us - and more. And if He loved us so much that He should give His Life for all mankind, will He not require His servants to do the same?

Poor man. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was stress-induced. His defeat on the amnesty bill must have been very upsetting, and he is carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. I hope he’ll be well soon.

Hillary’s “Ol’ Crusty”...

These words should never be used together in a sentence.

Maybe he took a look at his policy decisions lately.

—light indisposition of the stomach at the top of G8, but of nothing “low register”, and was to turn over “as quickly as possible” —

ROTFL.
translation: Top of G8 = upper Gastro-intestinal tract.
p.S. the STOMACH was to turn over. Priceless.

That’s a great self-control slogan on the coaster.

With the strict DUI laws in Germany, non-Alcoholic beer is fairly common. Bitburg ‘Drive’ is one of the most popular. I know Beck’s makes one as well.

SNIP

he is carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Isn't that the truth? Would I want to stand in his shoes right now? Uh, no thanks.

Even after all the disappointments I still like this guy but you know what ... he has no business being in that job. I am not sure he even had a great passion for it either. There was just no one else around to do it and it appears he wss persuaded to do it. Maybe he wanted to clean up some loose ends for his Dad, like Iraq. Look at that head of beer. He just doesn't look like a president in that photo. He belongs back on the ranch.

And you belong on DU. If anyone has a passion for the job or love for this country its Dubya. I hardly think having a NON-ALCHOHOLIC beer with a head on it makes him look unpresidential. Your post sounds just plain ignorant.
