The D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com is co-sponsoring a pro-Israel/pro-America rally at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 10 on the National Mall at 3rd St. in Washington, D.C.
The rally is being held to counter the anti-Israel rally marking the 40th anniversary of the Six Day War being held by the usual collection of America hating leftists including Code Pink, United for Peace and Justice and the Muslim American Society.
We will gather on the Mall on the West side of 3rd St. across the street from where the anti-Israel rally is being held.
Please bring American and Israeli flags and signs supporting both countries' victory in the war on terror. Also, please bring water and wear sunscreen as it looks to be a warm, sunny day.

Thanks for the ping Kristinn. I’m in touch with the South Jersey Jewish Community Relations Council about this but the executive director seems reluctant. They sponsored 5 buses down to DC to support Israel when 120,000 of us were in front of the Capitol building back in 2000. But the metro DC JCRC (forget their proper title) doesn’t feel its appropriate to be “counter” demonstrating; the forwarded email I received indicates they don’t feel its effective to do that. As a result, executive director of the South Jersey JCRC is emailing his board members (some of whom are very, very pro Israel)to get their reaction. So we’ll see. I’m checking into Amtrak as well. Just wanted to explain why the local organized non-Gentile community may not be as fully represented.
I will be there to support our friend Israel.
