This is the homestretch.
Call and e-mail your senators today, Republicans and Democrats, urging them not to table debate on this critical piece of legislation.
It deserves a fair and open debate of all ramifications. To do otherwise is unamerican.
Ask them to vote "NO" on cloture.
Keep bumping this to the top.
Today is the day.

“Mr. Pryor - no.”
Guess who is facing re-election in 08? It isn’t Mrs. Lincoln who votes the party line.

They don’t have the votes, by my count. We could be celebrating here in a few minutes... Stay tuned.
WHOAH! Did you see that? Boxer (D-CA) voted ‘no’. I guess she’s got a lot of pressure in CA against open borders.
There’s no way they’re getting sixty votes. We get to keep our country (at least for a while).

It’s dead! 41 votes against cloture.
To: katieanna
If she did, it escaped me. I’m doing a running fingers total.
But it’s smelling closer to dead.
Should be dead. Even the Rinos Snow and Collins just surrendered.

If this fails then one thing is certain.
Our voices are loud and they also carry weight no matter how the media spin things.
I am hoping that my faith in all things good is restored with the failure for cloture.

boxer voted no??????Geez, you know where must've froze over. I'll have to take back...SOME of the things I've said about her.
To: Jim Robinson
If it passes by two thirds, then Reid wants a vote on the bill itself later tonight or tomorrow.
Don't be surprised if that vote occurs at midnight.
