That is the headline on Drudge and all he has for now. Since Matt is undoubtedly in bed on the East Coast, we can probably thank Andrew Breitbart.
The immigration bill is on the brink of collapse in the Senate. Let's hope for some more developments soon.

They can’t enforce the law. They are incapable of enforcing the law. Their answer: make more laws they can’t enforce. They “Did Something”. They did more of the same. Liars. Elected Incompetents.

Dorgan may have introduced his amendment thinking it would be defeated. Mitch may, in fact, be behind this. And, best of allno fingerprints! If this stands up I'm blogging this "Dorgan kills immigration bill" while I LMAO over it. :D

The bill was dead before yesterday and all the machinations we witnessed were part of an elaborate dance for political cover.

Speaking of Brit Hume and Fred Barnes, I almost refuse to believe it but these 2 have shown their true colors in their SNARKY attitudes and refusal to address the travesty that this Amnesty Bill reveals, the absolute support of lawlessness and anarchy. I’m at a point that I can’t listen to Brit or his leetle beechies!

Jorge had his eyes opened after his speech in Georgia last week. Someone put a bug in his ear to STFU and close the border.

It would be a good idea for Texans to express their displeasure with the businesses and trade groups involved. I have not purchased any Tyson Foods products since the early 1990s because of the owner's close ties to Bill Clinton. It looks like Pilgrim's Pride is not an alternative. BTW, for those who live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area or the Panhandle, Braum's ice cream stores sell dairy products produced by the Braum family's dairy operations in Oklahoma, along with a limited selection of meat and produce. I am not aware that either the company or any farm or food trade association based in Oklahoma supports the amnesty bill before Congress. Also, people should consider spending their tourist dollars in places other than San Antonio or South Padre Island, where the local chambers of commerce support amnesty.
Those who betray their countrymen for the sake of cheap labor should not be rewarded by patriotic consumers.

Yes, if you click the pic with Reid and the bill on it (R.I.P) it has the story about Dorgan’s amendment sunsetting of the guest worker program after 5 years as the death knell. It failed by one vote a week ago and this week it passed by one vote. It pays to keep up the pressure! Thank God for an occasional Democrat who can see through this shamnesty.

I just called him and thanked him. Spoke to a nice lady and told her that the good senator has won over many admirers with his stellar performance last night.
