Great line from Rudy: “Socialism will ruin health care in the United States”. Didn’t expect that.

Guilani: Socialized medicine will ruin health care in America.
Hunter: 80% of new drugs are invented in US due to free enterprise. Makes point about states locking up insurance—buy across state lines.

Rudi has been pretty on the money tonight...I thought his response about Scooter Libby was great. Duncan Hunter has been as “sharp” as usual. I met Rep Hunter while I was deployed and can tell he’s the real deal.

To Hunter: what should we do to bring down prescription drugs?
80% inventions are made here because of free enterprise.
We need to be able to buy our health care insurance across state lines. States lock up insurance industry.

Ron Paul is an idiot ComeOn, dont insult idiots!! They are better!!
Oh, yeah? Just wait till after the debate when Dr. Paul ends up with 13,000% of the vote. Who'll be chuckling then, laughing boy?

I hate the way they preface their questions with an attacking policy speech.

You got plenty of time in that case, the letting go part .. good luck. ;-)
I dropped this one on my Dad when I graduated, I was a wee bit young. would have had to wait a few months if he hadn’t.

Paul is worse than rules-based. He doesn’t look at the spirit of the law and what it means, he takes the words and applies his own opinion of their meaning.. it is why he didn’t vote for the resolution of force against iraq, he says it is because it wasn’t a ‘declaration of war’ because the word ‘war’ wasn’t in there..
In other words, he would split hairs about every little word in a bill to a point where we don’t do anything.. sure that is good for spending bills, but NOT national security.

Hunter is getting a lost more face time during this debate. He is supremely qualified to be POTUS.

I understand. FWIW, I didn’t take your comment that way at all, and I am a woman.

He has every right to feel how he does but to talk this way about the president of our own party, it was unacceptable. Right, he's not allowed to disagree with the president publicly, nor utilize free speech. /sarcasm
I for one am tired of the bobble heads and prefer someone not afraid to speak up.

Why are people on the left so obsessed about health care? I don’t care what kind of system it is as long as it’s privately competitive.
