I’m not a student of Russian or Polish, but my husband’s (decidedly Polish on both sides) last name ends in “y”. From genealogical research I’ve learned that if a Polish woman was first in line when his ancestors arrived at Ellis Island it could’ve ended with an ‘a’. At this point though for immigrants who came over when they still passed through Ellis Island the spellings are too numerous for any hard and fast rules. I have been told that our last name is actually a Russian word, so again, who knows!! LOL

Hunter deserves the top of the ticket...he’s put in more for our country than any candidate up there.

Yes, Congressman Hunter is clearly the best candidate in the race, and I think that he would have been the best choice in several other election years also --- I am glad he decided to run in 2008.

30-40 plus years of feminism has brought us to this - a socialist female senator about to take over the Presidency. Unreal.

I really don’t understand why many freepers like to bash him so much when he probably is more conservatives on more issues than almost anyone up there. His problem is his outlook is too narrow. But he’s not a danger to the conservative movement. But Rudy very much is, IMO!
