Tom Delay was forced to resign once an indictment was made. Is this still true or was that rule removed?

That was a rule that the pubbies made for their own people.
I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with RATs.

Was DeLay forced to resign, or did he just bail out on his own, leaving his party without a nominee?

Not that I want the perv in office but Im still waiting on the Foley indictment for the crimes Brian Ross and the Rats claim he committed. The election is over so none of that matters any more.

Well, the dems did run on a campaign promise of a culture of corruption, right? People just thought they were suggesting they would reduce it...whereas the dems really meant they’d increase it. This is the first campaign promise they’ve kept.

People want to know: If Jefferson should step down, which corrupt Democrat will take his place? Unfortunately, there is an unlimited supply.

He thought it was an advance reparations payment, and he was just keeping it cool until he could distribute it to the poor black victims who really deserved it?

Paris Hilton will serve more jail time than Jefferson. Doing her part to offset the racist jail time ratio.

Finally we will be able to take a vote on the floor to clean up the political system. The number of Republicans who will demand such a vote = zero.
