In Sartrouville, a French suburb mostly inhabited by Muslims, the church will not have bells.
Bercause of the population of the neighbourhoods, with Muslim majority, the new building will be illuminated but… dumb.
“By regard for the very close inhabitants, we did not want to put one”, explains the 36 years old father De Bucy.
When I was a girl, church bells sang out the angelus every day and rang on other occasions, too. They have long since been silenced by the ACLU. Now, I hear only police sirens.
No Bells but 5 times a day somebody making noises like a strangled cat?
A church in a muslim neigborhood is a good thing. Maybe they’ll learn something. If they don’t vandalize the church first.

Isn’t that the truth. The real reason Muzzies are p!ssed is because, unlike the usually harmonious sound of church bells, their muezzin sounds like caterwalling.
I remember when I was a little girl in the sixties, all the church bells rang on Sunday. It was awesome. Can’t recall who complained, but by the seventies they went silent :(
Muslims have a nerve. From what I’ve read, their muezzin(sp)sound like strangled cats.
