From the link: “Newt you failed. You were too busy chasing skirts instead of solving our immigration problem. You and Clinton have one thing in common, you were both more worried about getting some tail, then solving our real problems we face as a nation.”

Newt you failed.

The sad thing about Newt is he is our Bill Clinton. He is willing to say or do anything to get people to like him. He wobbles all over on Iraq, Global Warming etc etc etc. He seems to define his principals by what ever his website emails are telling him people want to hear.

You mean like this one that got passed during Gingrich's speakership -- which is why we are doing Comprehensive Immigration again?

1996 Immigration Reform Law Addressed concerns about illegal immigration through a variety of law enforcement measures, including increased border control personnel, equipment and technology. Doubled, for example, the number of border patrol agents from 5,175 in 1996 to almost 10,000 by 2000. Confronted concerns about illegal immigrants access to government benefits by making undocumented immigrants ineligible for Social Security benefits Illegal immigrants still currently enter the U.S. at an estimated rate of 300,000 per year. Seven million illegal immigrants are currently estimated to be living in the U.S.
