Timmy saying to Mary Matlin, Try to be objective, I know it is hard for you. She might've profitably said, "Physician, heal thyself."

And Hillary’s party cynically panders to those who most need Reaganesque tough love. Instead of warning people that if they hold jobs which can be done cheaper way dahell on the other side of the world they’ll probably lose those jobs, liberals promise to strong arm companies into operating less profitably here in the U.S., solely for the benefit of employees.

What we are seeing now is not something new - it's a tried and true game plan which has worked well before..
True, the politicians believe that the generally uninformed US public with a short attention span will soon forget what has been done. The only problem is that the elephant in the room is getting bigger and bigger. You can't change the reality on the ground. As the problem metastasizes around the country with more and more grassroots organizations in various communities fighting back, this problem is not going away and it is getting bigger. It is also not as esoteric as the WTA/WTO and GATT-Uruguay Round 1994 treaty.

I got no sense of confidence listening or watching Mary today. She was not too coherent and seemed to lack something. Of course, living with Carville, it is a wonder, indeed, that she has not totally lost her mind.

Which merely drives the companies out of business or over seas making them even more dependent on the Hillary style politicians! Some days I am glad I have no children to leave this sorry mess to.

that the american people will hold Fred responsible for his positions on Law and Order. Too funny. Who knows? I read that, when they started planning the Mary Tyler Moore Show, they were originally going to make Mary Richards a divorcee -- but focus groups or something told them people would think she had divorced Dick Van Dyke, and that wouldn't go over well!

Snugs, the percentage of agricultural labor costs that brings produce sold in the US to the stores is about 5%. I have read that to pay appropriate wages would increase the price only a few cents.
It would not be the end of the world if some hotels increased their costs.

I have business dealings in Central Florida, which include
many customers that are related to the agriculture industries.
Many of them are reliant on those “immigrants” to produce the labor
needed for crop harvesting and maintenance. The common thread with all
of the companies, is that the laborers “HAVE” to be legal.
The majority of the laborers get paid for what they produce, rather than
the over emphasized minimum wage crapola.
If the employee is responsible, they can make as much as $250.00 a day or more. If the employee shows up, with hands in pocket
and watches the others work, they are the ones that can count on the
daily minimum wage. The choice is theirs.

Exactly right and some people/many? buy into this notion that as Lindsey Graham said America is just an “idea”. We are just widgets and can easily be replaced by anyone. The specific people themselves are not really important. So long as they can shop and vote. Only the idea is important. This is one reason that “multiculturalism” has become the “new religion” in America.
To: kabar
It won’t happen, of course, but it would be very entertaining if Wolf would ask the demonrats tonight if they also agree with the need to have illegals in the country to do the work that Americans workers won’t do. And also ask them about how they feel about making it much easier for the employers to verify that workers are really legal so that American citizens do not lose jobs to illegals. Also whether the American worker should subsidize the illegal worker's many entitlements.

Everyone was willing to pay more for gas until they started forking out $3/gal.
-—So show me where there has been a drop in demand for gas at 3.20 a gallon?

even long after I knew the truth, I had a hard time talking about it.... mostly because of our troops in harms way...But our sovereignty is at grave stake here.
It may sound harsh- but I can swallow deaths of Americans easier than I can swallow the death of America.
Remember also that those brave Americans currently doing the dying for their country agree with you...

Do you realize if this AMNESTY happens we are in effect creating the equivilent of adding over 17 more states to this country? No it doesn't since the Illegals, what ever today's magic number of them is, are all ready here and would not be added to the population. They are all ready part of it. So this is another example of the demagoguery being thrown around by the Ultras that complete guts their credibility on this issue. Less emotional demagoguery and more rational reasoning debate please.
