What Mexican interests is being put above American interests?? Isn’t identifying and tracking these Mexicans an American interest?
BTW Some of us are deeply offended by calling our President names like Jorge. It isn’t cute and would expect better from conservatives. Why not Chimp?

I think when 9-11 happened, any person in their right mind figured that for sure the government WOULD close down the borders immediately - it was absolutely the thing to do. It’s become apparent since then that the borders haven’t been shut down, enough time has elapsed that if the government had the will to do it, they’ve had the opportunity, and now, with this bill, the border will never be effectively shut down. Just as it took an attack on our home shores (after how many attacks that weren’t at home - Cole, embassies, etc.) to more or less wake us up, it’s taken being SLAPPED IN THE FACE by this horrible bill for people to start waking up, standing up and speaking up. Timing of the outrage makes sense to me.
I doubt you can download the actual song from Rush’s website...you can only listen to it there.
However...there are “other methods” of aquiring what you seek. *evil grin*

We could use about 2 or 3 major near hurriciane storms here till we are out of the woods.
Our local paper headlines were “ Hurricanes..they can’t predict them!” I find it hilarious that the global Warming crowd is so convinced about their predictions, but we can’t get a forecast for this year, let alone this week.HA!
I know emotions run very high on this issue but this conscious adaptation of the debate tactics of the Hysteric Left by a good chunk of the Right these days is simply inexcusable.
This habit of the Antis just screaming bile at everyone who doesn’t adopt their personal dogmas on this issue as gospel is really alienating a lot of people who MIGHT otherwise listen. This is why the “Nativist” accusation works for your opponents. Too many people read the sort of ranting hyper emotional screaming and simplistic sloganeering coming from the Right on this issue and wonder if the accusation ins’t hitting close to the truth.

Last week you wrote THIS, which was one of the best arguments on the issue I have read. THAT is the tone and the manner the Antis SHOULD be adopting. Use this sort of calm, deliberate sensible tone and the Antis turn all the arguments directed at them back on their opponents heads

Since 2000, we have added 21 millon people to our population, three-quarters due to immigration, legal and illegal.
I am not having a go at your or anyone who is willing to pay more I say well done.
I realise there is a group that are willing to do so hence the appearance in many main stream shops of fairtrade goods often produced by multinational companies.
However I still say that the majority of people will not want to and it will reflect on whatever party is in power at the time if they have to pay more when re-election comes up.

DC is interested in a North American union, just like the European Union.
It is about commerce. It is about cheap labor, and consumers....
Under the North American Union we will have shared courts- that will oversea land here in the US and have authority above that of our own courts, etc....(The superhighway for starters)
We will need a leader for the North American Union as well....

So true. We got tax-cuts, a good economy, two good SCOTUS additions and a guy who would respond to jihadists. We knew he was for open-borders with Mexico when we voted for him... the alternative was the high-speed lane to hell.
