BOOING MISS USA; ANTI-AMERICAN HATEFEST IN MEXICO (amnesty peddlers silent on hatemongering)
NY POST ^ | May 30,2007 | MICHELLE MALKIN

Posted on 05/30/2007 2:42:25 AM PDT by Liz

The US government is on the verge of approving a mass amnesty to millions of illegal aliens - a plan pushed aggressively by meddling Mexican officials who reap billions of dollars in remittances (illegal aliens' earnings sent back to Mexico) without having to lift a finger to clean up their own country. And the thanks we get? Internationally televised public humiliation.

--SNIP--

During an Olympics qualification soccer match between the US and Mexico (Guadalajara 2004), the stadium erupted in boos during the playing of "The Star-Spangled Banner." Fans yelled "Osama! Osama!" as Mexico's team eliminated the US squad. At a World Cup qualifier the following year, Mexican soccer fans again cheered the al Qaeda mastermind's name. ESPN noted that the audience again booed and whistled during the US national anthem. Plastic bags filled with urine were reportedly tossed on American players. One Mexican fan told the Christian Science Monitor: " 'Every schoolboy knows about 1848 . . . when they robbed our territory,' referring to when the US annexed Texas, California and New Mexico as part of a peace treaty ending the war between the two countries, 'that was the beginning.' "

This bitterness is long-standing and deep-seated - and stoked by top Mexican government officials and elites. .....Our leaders have concluded that it is better to pander, hide, pull out a friendly Spanish phrase.......and pray that the hatred will go away by giving the pro-amnesty lobby its legislative goodie-bag.........the White House continues to attack opponents of the Bush-Kennedy amnesty package as "nativists." Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff suggested enforcement advocates wanted to "execute" illegal aliens. And Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) trashed immigration-enforcement proponents as "bigots" in front of the ethnocentric, open-borders group La Raza. Those who are selling out our country should hang their heads in shame.

Mexico can go to hell! OOOps, it already has and that’s why their citizens are here.

And we’re rapidly on the way to becoming the same way.

1848 was when the U.S. defeated Mexico for that sliver of land
that we PURCHASED legally. What they are really pissed off about is the discovery of gold the following year in California, the richest discovery known. Too bad. They got their money for the desert land, yet they continue to occupy it now illegally.

Maybe I’ll move to France one day soon.

They seem to be having a fit of common sense these days- maybe it will last...

Sounds like France, Germany, and other socialist EU countries.

>>1848 was when the U.S. defeated Mexico for that sliver of land that we PURCHASED legally.

I’ve never heard California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and parts of Wyoming defined as a ‘sliver of land’. These are some the largest states in the country, after Alaska and Texas.

Are you thinking of the Gadsden Purchase? That is a pretty small parcel (relatively).

What I find hilarious is that this land they claim as theirs was only part of the Mexican state from ~1821-1848. A mere 27 years. I have cars older than that.

If they hate the USA so much don’t come here. this does not look very good for the ones who are coming across the border as illegals. They hate the US stay home period.

“if el presidente would do his job and protect defend and secure our borders from the illegal hordes rather than encourage invasion with the promise of amnesty and everything free.....maybe the pageant would have been a slight bit different.”

Let me see if I can grasp this:

If Bush were much stricter with border control and more frequent with the deportations, the Mexicans would like us better?

What color is the sky in your world?

Yup. THESE are the people Bush wants to reward!

Will France ask for the Louisiana Purchase back too? Will Bush acquiesce?

I want to puke.

It wasn’t your homeland until your ancestors carried out genocide against the original inhabitants. I grow annoyed with those who put the sins of old Europe on the US. Yes, we have our warts, the Trail of Tears, 72 years of Slavery. But don’t present that the southwest was settled by pious Christians from Virginia.

The Donald is a bigger buffoon than our Seantors...and that's going some. what was the pageant doing there in the first place?

I am burning some tacos tonight in protest of Mexico slandering the US.

Good idea----throw these on, too.

Horchata's disgusting.

Roger that.

Curiosity got the better of me one day in Wallyworld and I couldn't resist the $.02 on clearance package of Horchata. Got it home, mixed it up per the Spanglish instructions, took a sip, and promptly gagged.

It's a little like drinking a liquefied scented candle - only less tasty.

The Mexican soccer fans wouldn’t shout “Osama” and throw urine bags at our USMNT if we weren’t kicking their butts on a regular basis.

All they have is their anger. Lenin would term them "useful idiiots".

They are truly pawns in a grand game. But then again, so are we, probably.
