Miss USA Booed by Mexicans During the Miss Universe National Costume Competition

Thousands of people gathered at the Angel de la Independencia to witness the Miss Universe National Costume competition, which was held outdoors and was open to the general public. The 77 contestants paraded in alphabetical order for around 45 minutes. Some contestants wore enormous costumes, while others wore the traditional attire of their countries. The most applauded contestant was Mexico (Rosa Maria Ojeda), followed by Spain (Natalia Zabala). Miss USA Rachel Smith, (on the left) who wore a very creative female Elvis Presley costume, was booed by the audience, due to the unstable political relations between Mexico and the United States. On the right photo is our very own Anna Theresa Licaros wearing a very elegant spanish-inspired costume. Watch this video from a Mexican website covering the National Costume competition where Miss USA was booed by the public. According to the clip, crowd favorites are Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, Philippines and Japan

Uhh.

I guess you don’t get it.

Let me explain, as you seem to have a comprehension problem.

American girl appears on stage in international competition in Mexico.

Mexicans boo her. They haven’t the slightest idea who Elvis Presley is, or was.

They remember how we kicked thier @$$e$ at Buena Vista, Molina Del Rey, Mexico City, and in every other battle they fought with us in the Mexican War - a part of Mexican folk memory. They are having more problems than Jorge El Segundo would like them to have in sneaking into our country and stealing our benefits, jobs, and money - and - if possible - the territory we took from them in the Mexican War - a piece of real estate very sprsely occupied by the people of Mexico and grossly underutilized and defended at the time.

Ergo, they boo the U.S., not an Elvis Presly costume. Comprehende Senior??

You insulted America by making inane comments about a national insult to My Country in that social, ecomonic and cultural rathole called Mexico, by a mob of classless thugs who picked on a helpless American girl.

A few years ago, something like this would have generated national outrage in America as years ago we were proud to be Americans and quick to defend America and Americans.

Generations of political correctness and craven politicians have changed all that.

I guess you don’t get it. Perhaps there is a generation gap here. Maybe you just don;t see things through my eyes - or the eyes of the Mexicans who knew exactly what they intended.

We should have OWNED Mexico 100 years ago.

It isn't too late. Why did we have to spend hundreds of billions overthrowing an oil-rich tyranny in the Mideast, when we have an oil-rich tyranny on our Southern border? We already serve as Mexico's outsourced welfare system, so we might as well take over their oil reserves and run the whole county the right way. 50% of Mexicans in poverty? I think we can do a little better than that.

I thought it was interesting when Miss American turned the tables on the Mexicans, and spoke to them in Spanish. They pretty much shut up then.

I almost wish she had derided them, by putting a fist up and saying "Remember the Alamo" or something. But we are classier than that.

Nothing humerous about a young lady falling on a stage, possibly getting injured, and being insulted by a mob of lowlife degenerate anti-American parasites.

Comprehende senior?

I don’t see it as a “National” insult because it is just an inane entertainment.

Yep. That's why I think we should march in there and take them over now. Make Mexico the 51st state.
No way. I'd only accept Mexico...without the Mexicans.

LOL I have been sitting here trying to think of a nice way of saying that, you said it best.

At least the Mexican fans didn’t throw bags of urine at the poor girl.

Nothing humorous about lack of basic English spelling comprehension either, yet I don’t jump all over you about it.

Lighten up - life will be a lot better.

Screw the immigration bill. Mexico is a mess so close the border with fences and machine guns.
