ORCAS ISLAND, Wash. — Vandals burned dozens of small American flags that decorated veterans' graves for Memorial Day and replaced many of them with hand-drawn swastikas, authorities said Monday.

My neighbor, an old Korean War vet, spent three days with his VFW group putting flags on graves in my town. I hope he doesn’t see this.
Honestly, if I EVER see someone desecrate a soldier’s grave...I pray that God would have mercy on my soul for what I would do to them...

I’m sure if and when the outrages comes, it will only be because the use of the swastika in this context offends Hindus.
But this is not a hate crime, despite the use of swastikas, because as defined they do not protect nationality (American Citizen) or political affiliation or military status.

Good lord. I’m glad I escaped. Washington is beautiful, but the leftists in the western part of the state just make my head spin sometimes.
Will the police take fingerprints from the swastika flags to try to find the perps? Or is that asking too much?

Nah! Just load up a c130 and drop them in—take your pick—Syria, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, North Korea. Living the good life over here BECAUSE of those whose graves they have desecrated. I wonder just how hard the police are looking. I also wonder if WA citizens can muster any outrage, given the things they have done about ROTC, recruiting, etc. (Asking forgiveness for those patriots who haven’t left the state.)

Contact the American Legion and they will make sure the swastika markers are fingerprinted.
