Trial dates have been set for four suspects in a horrific abduction and murder case that has sparked an Internet-wide rage over the violence of the attack as well as the fact that the suspects are black, the victims white.
Knox County, Tenn., Criminal Court Judge Richard Baumgartner confirmed during a just-concluded hearing defendant Letalvis "Rome" Cobbins, 24, will go to trial starting May 12, 2008, on dozens of counts alleging he abducted, assaulted and murdered Channon Christian, 21, and Christopher Newsom, 23.

You don’t rape men and women in a “car jacking”. Stealing the car was not the focus, just something “extra”.
There was also a black on white murder afew years ago of three couples in a field. Whatever came of that?
Time to dump the garbage.
They can't actually say that. If they did, more people would actually be interested in following this story. As a carjacking, people just pass right over the story.

On Saturday January 6, 2007 Hugh Christopher Newsom, age 23 and Channon Gail Christian, age 21, both students at the University of Tennessee went out on a date (their photos below).
They were driving in Channon’s Toyota 4-Runner when they were carjacked at gunpoint. Suddenly the crime turned far more savage than an armed car theft. Chris and Channon were kidnapped and driven to 2316 Chipman Street where they were forced into the home at gunpoint. While Channon was forced to watch, her boyfriend was raped prison style and then his penis was cut off. He was later driven to nearby railroad tracks where he was shot and set afire. But Channon’s hell was just beginning. She was beaten; gang raped repeatedly in many ways, had one of her breasts cut off and bleach poured down her throat to destroy DNA evidence-all while she was still alive. To add to Channon’s degradation the suspects took turns urinating on her. They too set her body afire, apparently inside the residence, but for some reason left her body there-in five separate trash bags....”

Per the article, some of these details may not be accurate.
The black man that was dragged behind a truck in Texas by white men listed every detail. Media will not report on this crime so some details may be sketchy. Only a trial will bring them all out.
Good thing it wasn't a hate crime. Like it would have been if white people had said something offensive to black people.

Very good thing otherwise the media would be going after this story 24/7.
That's what haunts me about this story and why I follow it. What they must have endured their final hours on this earth is unimaginable that a human could do that to another.

Years ago a couple of boys from Dunnwoody Georgia were kidnapped in a parking lot. Dunwoody is a very nice section north of Atlanta. One boy was white and one was black. The white boy was tied up and thrown in the trunk, The black kid was put in the car. They were driven around for quite awhile and then taken to a wooded area where the thugs shot and killed the white kid and told the black kid to runaway.
They caught the black men involved but concluded it wasn’t a hate crime because, well, just because.
You know, I can’t believe this thing happen in our country but, when I think about it, the terrorists do this sort of thing all the time in the name of allah. These people are not human!
It’s not a hate crime since only whites are dead.
