Mexican Amnesty Activists Have A Direct Line to OUR Senators!
Vanity

Posted on 05/24/2007 8:44:47 AM PDT by Scarpetta

For those of you having difficulty getting thru to your senator, here is the 800 # paid for by the Mexican Amnesty Activists:

800-882-2005

This will get you directly to your senator unlike the #'s available to the US Citizen.

Press 1 when you hear a Spanish message, then Press 1 again to be transferred to your senior senator's office

OR

Press 2 when you hear a Spanish message, and you'll be transferred to your junior senator's office.

You get through immediately and the call is paid for by the enemy!

Becoming Illegal (From a Maryland resident to his senator) The
> Honorable Paul S. Sarbanes Senate Office Building
> 309 Hart
> Washington DC, 20510
>
> Dear Senator Sarbanes,
>
> As a native Marylander and excellent customer of the Internal
Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.
>
> My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S.
Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill’s provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.
>
> Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay
taxes every year so I’m excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in
2004 and 2005.
>
> Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local
emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year. Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as “in- state” tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.
>
> Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the
burden of renewing my driver’s license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still have college-age children driving my car.
>
> If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become
illegal(retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance.
>
> Your Loyal Constituent,
>
> Pete McGlaughlin
>
> Get your Forms (NOW)!! Call your Internal Revenue Service 1-800-
289-1040. Please pass this onto your friends so they can save on this great offer!!!!
>
> Explain it to me once more: WHY do I have to “Press 1 for
English”?

Well, it seems that the line I pay for every month and with my tax dollars always gives me a busy signal. I’ve tried since Monday to call and did not get through until I called on the Amnesty line.

I resorted to email to give my opinion on Monday, and have no idea whether anyone took notice. On the Amnesty line you get to speak with a REAL LIVE PERSON on the first try. Not hardly an even playing field.

>>You actually have to press “1” twice to get your senior senator - or “2” then “1” to get your junior senator.

The funniest thing, the message is in spanish, but tell you exactly what you’re supposed to say when you call in english!

I got both my senators offices, told them I want strong border security and no amnesty for illegal aliens, all on La Raza’s nickel!!! What a sweet deal!<<

PLEASE NOTE!!! I just used the line, and I found out:

For my area code, the options were 1 for Cornyn and 18 for Hutchison. I asked which office I was speaking to, and they said Austin, Texas. You see, senators have a Washington number and several local offices. The Washington number is usually busy, but I can usually get through to local offices. That goes for Mitch McConnell, Jeff Sessions, etc. etc. So I think you can just call local offices listed in the senator’s home page if you don’t speak Spanish.

The system is actually pretty sophisticated, and I wonder if they got it from telemarketers, who need a new client since we have the “no call” law.

I am so discouraged right now. I have known for a long time that our congress critters were corrupt, but had hope that there were enough with some scruples that we would not completely lose our way. Looks like I was wrong.

I don’t see how they can explain these amnesty line calls going through immediately. If it were only one or two people saying it, it could be a coincidence. But there have been hundreds, maybe thousands, from Freepers alone. Doesn’t sound like a coincidence.

I try to call my senators pretty regularly because I almost never agree with their positions. (Lugar and Bayh) I ALWAYS have a hard time getting in and usually have to leave a voice mail.

I think you are right...this has probably been done before.

I used the line and got Feinstein’s D.C. office. It is the same guy I have talked to on numberous occasions.
Difference........I have had to hit redial constantly when I use the published phone number, with this number I got a busy signal then it started ringing, went straight thru.

who is killing the thread? I’m gonna have to get my tin-foil out if I think Freeper admins are trying to spike this! I’m also absolutely surprised about the lack of coverage of this everywhere!

I think we're on to them.....I agree this is possibly series and hugh!
Hiding for them is too late thanks to the poster (Scarpetta) of this thread, and I know the thread numbers to be correct. I was able to talk to a real person, right away. Not necessarily the case when I called the lines advertised for the citizens of the nation to call in on.

Sad. I would not have expected this. We just have to keep on calling. It can make a difference.

Having experience in provisioning 800 numbers for At&T, the 800 number is translated in the serving central office switch. It is routed to a regular number provided by the customer.

Since government offices have published numbers such as 202-123-4567. What is happening here is that the reason you are reaching live staff instead of a call tree is the number translated is an internal number that isn't published. Hope this helps. I am just as PO'd as y'all are.
