So, fine. Let’s make that POS judge serve the jail time before trial without benefit of bail. If the perp flees on low bail, the judge serves; sounds like a good rule to me.

If he had only waited a few weeks he could have been here legally.

GA Gov Sonny Perdue signed a bill a couple of weeks ago to allow judges to take into consideration immigration status when deciding bail or parole. A great idea.

...and flee the country.

No wonder they want free access to come and go across the border.

Outside of FOX no one will report it.

The Mexicans won’t hand him over.

The open boarder crowd will say that this crime is not limited to illegals. It’s interesting to note that nearly 10% of illegals are criminals in their home of origin. Most of those jumping the boarder are not the surgeons working in Mexico City. Nope, it’s the uneducated, sick, often criminal element that comprises those crossing. People who have no documentation and history as far as we are concerned, people who disproportionally are represented in prisons for a reason. But the liberal will turn that minor detail on its head as well and claim that if we “decriminalized” illegals this would not be so.

Sad, but Democrats and Republicans alike are falling over each other in pandering to a 14.5% demographic (and growing fast) calling themselves Hispanic. Let their be no doubt about it. Those politicians behind amnesty and open boarder policies are supporting a position that benefits someones pocketbook or their political career; the greater interests of our nation are being sold out.

A Sheriff's Department spokesman says they alerted federal immigration officials...but ICE apparently did not put an immigration hold on him. Judge Andrew Armatas set as $35,000 bond, which legal observers say is low for someone suspected of sexually assaulting a child. But before prosecutors had a chance to argue for a higher bond, Flores put up the $3500 necessary to bond out, and fled to Mexico.

Bounty hunter James Ness discovered Flores real name and tracked him to his hometown in Mexico. Ness says he provided the information to prosecutors, but there is no move to bring the suspect back to the United States. Ness says he thinks this case fell through the cracks... , "But the crack is huge. A lot of people fall into that crack."

If this case isn't enough to convince you that our government is indifferent, corrupt, or utterly incompetent when it comes to illegal immigrants, you're absolutely brain-dead. How dare they ask us to trust them on their new "comprehensive reform program"!!

Wasn’t is Sandra Day O’Conner who admonished us for being critical of judges?
This guy ought to be stoned in the public square.

And they said that illegal aliens would never self-deport.

Well look at that. Illegal aliens can deport themselves. They just have to be given the proper motivation.

Those who think judges and elected officials are going to solve this problem are dreaming.

By the time they wake up, it will be far too late.

I think bond is set low in hopes the perp will skip. This saves the local governments the trial cost, which I'm sure includes court appointed attorney, and they keep the bond money.
