"But so far at least, Mr. Kyl appears to be having a hard time drawing the support of his fellow conservatives. And if he ultimately flees -- as he says he still may -- the entire effort is more likely to unravel." Hit him hard!! Make him flee!!

“Some Democrats dislike the guest-worker program. Yesterday, the Senate defeated a proposal from Sen. Byron Dorgan (D., N.D.) to strike it from the bill... his proposal failed on a vote of 64-31.”
Thats quite a wide margin for a Senate that is divided so narrowly. If there were Democrats voting to strike it, how many Republicans voted to keep it?
The nation would not be destroyed from within (which amnesty has a very good chance of doing) without the help of the GOP.

He ran TV ads saying the Democrat supported "amnesty" for illegal immigrants."
Has Kyle convinced himself he is not voting for amnesty? Or is he just a Liar.
We have to clean house, and vote out the people we can't trust to represent us.
Color him gone.

Use the word deport when you call your elected leaders in DC. That is what they fear most. They need to know that the American people want it.

From the article:
On Saturday, Mr. Kyl got a "very warm" reception from the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry... "From the business community's standpoint, particularly in Arizona, there's an almost desperate desire to see a comprehensive federal solution for immigration problems," Mr. Hamer said.
Yes, we know that business wants more low wage workers; that immigration lawyers are drooling over those millions of new clients; and "public advocacy groups" need to increase their grab of federal, state, and local grant money.
Thus we have this unholy alliance of amnesty advocates and their ad from last year's debate:
"Though no one wants to reward illegal behavior, we must find a way for these workers to come forward, make good on the past and participate in a program that leads to permanent residency and eventual citizenship."

There is a local radio spot ( northern New Jersey) for a GOP primary, that ends with —— is another “conservative” we can’t trust. I think “How brilliant!” every time I hear it. It applies to sooooooooooo many of today’s “conservatives” doesn’t it?

I’d like to know how these ‘poor’ low paid workers are going to come up with $5,000 apiece???? Are we the taxSERFS going to be asked to pony it up or are they eventually going to give in to the whine of the ‘poor’ souls and waive it?

We're supposed to pay for the illegal's lawyer so they can stay in this country?
We're supposed to give them in-state tuition so they can get benefits of the American dream that even American children don't get?
We're supposed to push forward the North American Union with no input from WE THE PEOPLE?
I have no idea what Kyl was thinking, but he's shown just how much of an amateur he is, being rolled by Kennedy like this.

his endorsement will help win over other immigration hard-liners, a constituency where he has credibility, particularly after opposing last year’s Senate-passed bill as too weak.
These people are too stupid and think we are too.

It is unprecedented for the State Republican Party Chairman to send out official correspondence and hold a news conference in opposition to something that the Republican Senators from that state are doing. I'm so glad that I've supported Randy Pullen for years now. He is a true conservative and gives me hope in the Republican Party. If only we could have coordinated this and had all state party chairs replaced with conservatives. Imagine how the face of politics would look today. Let's kill this bill and then let's see more conservatives get organized and put in conservative party chairs.

“Senator Kyl is completely out of touch with reality / his constituents.”
This political theater is getting really tiresome. Last year Kyl was against amnesty because his election was coming up. Now that he’s safe for 6 years he can tell us to get stuffed. Look at how Santorum campaigned hard for Specter and against Toomey in Pennsylvania in 2004. Now he’s claiming he’s a great conservative just like Kyl was in 2006. We’re just getting fed “boob bait for the bubbas.”
Well, I contribute a fair amount of money and this time I will aim my money at anyone challenging these RINOS starting with that jackass Lindsey Graham in South Carolina.
